The distance from Ashland, OR to the nearest bowling alley listed by OpAphid is about 320 miles, while the distance from Corbin Bowl in Tarzana to the nearest listed alley is about 400 miles. It would be quite a drive, but she(he?) could easily be closer than Nikki. |

The picture of Yousef on the ID comes from his myspace page. Presumably a real ID would have a spur-of-the-moment taken picture. I mean try flashing an ID to a bouncer and having him see a photo headshot on it? IDs are SUPPOSED to have BAD pictures of you on it 
So in conclusion, these people aren't involved with the real Creators or else presumably they wouldn't have had to use a public-domain photo.

FYI. People in Oregon do drive. There are airports here, and some of us even fly. Many of us live here and commute to Southern CA, or the Bay Area for work.
Ashland is the home of a world class Shakespeare festival, and a stronghold for the order.
Just thought you ought to know.

Yes, I've been to the Shakespeare festival, and as I commented in the LGPedia, I actually grew up in the area that OpAphid highlighted in her last vid, so I've even been to a couple of those bowling alleys.
All I was saying is that a fan in Southern Oregon who really wanted to could make a day trip for something like this.
Furthermore, I'm not bothered by the picture being from MySpace, I'm more bothered by the low quality of the video. I don't know about anyone else, but if I had found Daniel's ID, I'd want to show off a really good shot of it in my video. |

| heh. The video was supposed to look like that, so we wouldn't be able to get a good shot of the ID. Its a fake, fake ID (hope that makes sense) and they didn't want us to be able to disprove that too soon. |

The poor quality was so we'd get just enough time to glimpse Yousef's photo on it but it was so poor quality and dark that we wouldn't be able to analyze the rest of the ID and realize it's blatantly fake... by which I mean a fake fake ID, as has been alluded to haha.

It has been said in Oppy land that impuls ( a poster on this fora ) went into chat laughing that people are actually still thinking the ID in the vid was real...if that helps resolve anything.

i have a question though...this fan beat everyone to the punch (including Opaphid)...and made a fanvid. So why was it dismissed? They meant for it to be a part of the story or their participation in the LG15world.
BTW - Jonas's home is in Humbolt i believe. |
