the chat is back. But it's EXTREMELY glitchy. You can't have audio/video on for more the 10 min. It'll cut out and you'll have to reset the specific user.
PLUS beware of the ass curse!!! Any word containing "ass" in that specific letter order, such as massive and assets ... will be censored!
it makes for amusing times.

| I find it funny that the chat was at least working (albeit not 100% functional) while JD was here. The creators should have went back to userplane if they did not have the knowlege to perform maintenance on a flash solution. |

Yes, yes, you've established before that you aren't happy with the technical side of things. Most of us, however, are pleased the chat is back up and happy the Creators are able to continue work on the site. There's no need to continually rehash old situations.

Personally, I'd prefer it still be down and actually fixed properly, and not this half assed job we seem to always get.
The "censorship" of words was not even done properly, which makes for much annoyance. Why is ASS so much worse than the F word, and the S word, and any myriad of other words?
Why does any word containing ASS need to be starred out? There is a huge amount of words that contain ASS in them. It's just rediculous. It's either very lazy programming or this person doesn't know what they are doing. (Not that I would know what I was doing either, but having said that, I sure wouldn't mess with things like that if I didn't know what I was doing) |

Sorry, curiosity here. Does it censor just a$$hole type words or like sassy? I'm on a board where we can't talk about socialism because it contains cialis. If a filter is needed it should really just effect the word as a whole, apart from other things, and not as a component of other words. imo

You can't say any word that has ass in it, such as... assume, passion, massive, etc, without it being censored. |

that is the worst glitch on the chat room right now.
Audio and visual glitches we can handle but the fact that we can't type specific words like sassy massive passion and what no...its annoying as hell!
