With every video she becomes more and more intolerable. It doesn't make any sense. Didn't people start watching to begin with because they liked her?
Most fans hope against hope that with each video Bree will become likable again.
So what possible motivation could the creators have for making us dislike her so much?
ETA: The only thing I can think of is they don't want us to be too upset when they finally kill her off. J/K sort of _________________ Visit www.therevolvingdoor.net

I like mean Bree. Shes more real to me.
I'd rather her realistically grieve than have her go...

I think part of the reason she's unlikable is that it's hard to show true grieving in "real" time. This story follows a realistic timeline. They can't really fast forward through it. They can't just stick in a photomontage that occupies the space of a few months. I also don't think they've done a good job showing grieving. At all. Grieving follows a pattern. You can jump around beteen the different stages of grief but they are all there at some point. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Where has any of that been? She jumped right to depression and now there's nothing. She's emotionless.
In addition, consider Bree's character when the series started. Consider everything she's been through. She's supposed to be smart. She hasn't learned very much. We haven't really seen her experience emotional growth at all. There haven't been any life lessons. She's still just an angsty teenager in extraordinary circumstances. It was enough to carry the series at the beginning but I don't think it's enough now. I think the whole thing is suffering from shallow writing. There's no depth anywhere. |

I agree with Danielle, lol.
I say mean things about boys sometimes when they're upsetting me. Maybe Bree is feeling jealous so she took it out on them. _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof."

Maybe she's becoming emo.

We don't hate Bree. Its just the suspiciously absent posters who are trying to turn us against her. She needs our help! _________________ What ever happened to that girl BA?

Yeah, that. I'm trying really. I want to be loyal but the creators are making it damned hard. _________________ Visit www.therevolvingdoor.net
