plot development! sweeet!
my theory:
first of all, the order does not equal opaphid. they probably work together, but they aren't the same. but the order has been watching all of the videos and knew where daniel would be. they also knew that if oppy had some kind of "let's find daniel" thing in place, ppl would assume oppy was to blame. sooooo...... the order kidnaps daniel, dumps the blame on opaphid, etc, etc,
it explains how oppy was all like "the plan won't go into effect until later"

I don't really get how you think it's the Order (if it's seperate from Op) who we've heard pretty much nothing about, or have no evidence that they know where Daniel is. OpAphid, however, we have proof that she knows, as we (and by we I mean Lad) retrieved the information she needed to locate that spot. She even told us herself that they weren't expecting Daniel to return to the alley so quickly so they'd had to devise a new plan to get him that day.
ps: I too am very excited about some plot developement 
EDIT: I also disagree that The Order is seperate from OpAphid. To my understanding OpAphid is a branch of the Order. In the vids Tachyon uploaded, she edited at the end the text "FIGHT THE ORDER" and since Tachyon's thing is fighting OpAphid, that to me means Op=Order on some level. |

Interesting...according to what appears to be a fanvid...Daniel was "found," (although there was no solid evidence in the video).

well polygyny (the correct anthropological term for multiple wives) IS legal in Utah where many Mormons live and thus are allowed to practice polygyny legally.
edit - also, there are two factions of Mormons, one of which believes practicing polygyny is okay.
....but i didn't think there'd be anyone who'd be offended by a joke like that. sorry, man; stereotypes and all... |
This is pure garbage.
1. Polygamy (used in the broad sense to refer to both polygyny and polyandry; thank you for the anthropological babble, by the way) is ILLEGAL in Utah. (Charged under the law as separate counts of bigamy for each "marriage". ) Because law enforcement resources are very limited and many polygamists live far away from major cities, they mainly go after polygamists when children are involved, but it is most certainly NOT legal in any sense of the term.
2. The LDS church no longer OKs polygamy. Polygamy leads to excommunication.
3. The term Mormon is NOT usually applied to groups that have separated themselves from the Church over the issue of polygamy.

Maybe after the Order has Daniel they will force him to call Bree and Jonas and lie and say he's with a girl or at home so that they think he's okay.

Jonas' parents boarded a sailboat and disappeared. A ranger station in Humboldt County (Northern California) received a distress call... oh here, let Jonas tell it:

So Jonas' parents supposedly disappeared not too far from where he lives in Ukiah. But nowhere near the area indicated on the globe, which is the South Atlantic.

Well, your teacher is wrong. Sometimes that happens. I went to college in Utah, I lived there for 8 years. I met and worked with many Mormon and non-Mormon people. I even worked with a polygamist. Trust me, I have first hand knowledge of it. It's not legal in Utah. The Church does not condone it, and anyone practicing it is either not a member of the Church or is excommunicated. The polyagamist was really a weird guy who lived in this compound in the hills. He claimed to be Mormon, but he wasn't. He followed an old off-shoot of the Church who are a bunch of wacked-out criminals who deal with child prostitution. None guys are no more Mormon than Osama bin Laden is a true Muslim.
Besides, I love how people talk about it when it's no different than a single guy sleeping with a different girl every night of the week. If anything people should be balsting his behavior....but they don't.
Anyway...this isn't about all that.
Daniel's missing! I hope he had some fun before he got kidnapped. |

But the 140th longitude is nowhere near Ukiah...
(Wait...I take that back. The West one is somewhat close...I was thinking of the E one) |

I think it's a very valid theory. I really do think someone has tried to beat Oppy to the punch. I'm basing it off of the emails that people received from her earlier that made it sound like she had a plan, but wasn't ready to implement it tonight. |
There's also been discussion about the many hinted connections between Tachyon and Jonas. I wonder... did Jonas set this up with Tachyon... is Tachyon going to use Daniel's cell phone as bait to draw in Oppy?
In any event, I think the next vid is going to be Jonas and Bree, road-trippin' after Daniel. |

| Okay, playing with Google Earth (I love the extra Plus subscription) the 140th is about 900-1000 miles from Ukiah. It's between 1/3 to 1/2 the way to Hawaii. |
