Our founder is -R-. He has not been present on the Forum for a month now and he has not responded recently via PM. If he does return, this information may be amended. However, in the mean time, Dr. Winters (wintermute) is our new school principal.

OK, I decided to make a Role Playing game! YAY!

It is based off an idea I made on another forum for a television show I used to be obsesed with. It was called "Rankin Boarding School," and I just went back, and the game is STILL GOING!

So heres the deal

The Hymn of One Boarding School, or HOOBS, is a school based in the middle of nowhere. There are no towns, nor life anywhere near to it. What HOOBS does is takes in children (both men and woman) in to teach them about the religion of The Hymn of One. In this RP, you may play a teacher or a student. What will happen is a group of students will gather onto a bus to go to HOOBS. The story will progress as we move on through the series and learn more about HoO. Take in mind that if you are a teacher or part of the faculty, you are in the order. period. If you are a student, you may choose your path. You can be hesitant of the religion of you can be a HoO freak! Just fill out this form if you want to play. (Note: This is now optional!)

The underground lair is an ancient lair that used to be the gathering point of the Order of Dendrah that the students find and use as a "hide out" of sorts.

The people who join will be assigned a dorm and roomate/flatmate

Hair: He keeps it buzzed short. It’s a sandy blonde color.

Skin: The guy doesn’t get out much. He often jokes he has the complexion of a vampire, though he isn’t quite that pale.
Other physical characteristics: Evan is 5’9” tall, with a lean, muscular build. He hasn’t stepped on a scale in a long while, mostly because he doesn’t care too much about his weight, but he does have a pretty fast metabolism. (OOC: Think David Gallagher.)
Clothing Style: Usually just normal street clothes. Jeans, t-shirts, a hoodie if it’s cold, that sort of thing. He does go in for a little bit of the punk look, but isn’t hardcore about it.
Important Misc. Info: He has a scar on his chin from scratching a chicken-pock when he was eight. He wears one black leather studded bracelet, on his right wrist, and a pendant depicting Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer, around his neck on a simple black string. He has his left eyebrow pierced and has a tattoo, also of Mjolnir, on the inside of his right forearm. He’s probably going to get in trouble for it, but he doesn’t care.
Personality: Evan’s a quiet guy. He has serious trust issues from being abandoned by his single mother when he was six, and can often come off as monosyllabic or distant to people he doesn’t know very well. For those that do manage to penetrate his guard, however, he opens up. Though he could never really be described as outgoing, if you manage to get close to him, he’ll be much more friendly and warm with you. Deep down, Evan thinks it’s his fault that his mother abandoned him, and he deeply desires some kind of love to prove that belief wrong. He’s never been much for casual dating, and growing up, that left him at a bit of a disadvantage, when everyone else was just looking to experiment and he was looking for a genuine relationship.

He is loyal to the hilt and will put himself in danger for those he cares about without a second thought. He can be a bit hot tempered at times, especially when it comes to protecting those he cares about, and this can sometimes override his normally level head. Evan is a creative person that likes to write and draw, and has begun contemplating creating a webcomic. He wants recognition, but not for the fame and fortune, purely for the sake of being noticed and acknowledged. Evan likes to question authority, and his fondness for the Norse pantheon stems in part from a time when he questioned a teacher about the other pantheons and the teacher wasn’t exactly open to explaining. He’s also heavily interested in the paranormal and the occult, though he hasn’t tried his hand at any practices of the latter.
History (if any, optional): Evan is pretty tight-lipped about his past. If pushed, he’ll admit that his dad left his mom before he was born. He’ll admit that at age six, his mother abandoned him. He doesn’t talk about the cramped life in the orphanage she left him at, though it doesn’t seem to have left any scars on him, so it couldn’t have been that bad.
