People please remember when discussing cassieiswatching, the YouTube account, the MySpace account and let’s throw in the ebay account just for good measure, they are not a creation of, or are run by The Creators. This entire cassieiswatching series is not a part of the LG15 series. It is done by different people who have no known connection with The Creators. Cassieiswatchin is fan fiction, it is not canon. The Creators have shown an interest in allowing fan fiction to enter the official Breeniverse, but as of this moment the only sources of official Breeniverse content are the lonelygirl15 and DanielBeast YouTube accounts, the lonelygurl15 MySpace account, and this site.

YouTube cassieiswatching is considered blue or fan-created material, it will not become purple or red as the Creators have shown no interest in allowing it to exist within the Breeniverse.

The purpose of this sub-forum is to discuss matters relevant to the Cassieiswatching as featured on YouTube. All issues regarding "her" can be posted here, including those that question her credibility. However, this is not the place to promote or support one of the other Cassies as featured on MySpace, eBay or anywhere else There are other sub-forums setup for such discussions.

When there is unavoidable overlap between the Cassies, such discussions should be held in the most relevant Cassie sub-forum. In this forum, if the discussion in a particular thread leans too far away from the topic of YT Cassie, that thread will be moved to a more appropriate sub-forum.

I originally made this post over at Alissa's forums ( www.childrenofanchorcove.com ). With the announcement that the Creator's had nothing to do with it, we decided to no longer discuss cassieiswatching over there. I thought I would offer this to you guys as a reference, and to anyone who may have missed it. I probably won't be updating it anymore though, just so you know.

Once again I repeat: The Official Lonelygirl15 creators have officially announced not being involved with the cassieiswatching project.

What is CassieIsWatching?
- Cassieiswatching is a spin-off series to the whole LG15 series. Did you watch the "Swimming!" video from Bree? She mentions a girl named Cassie in the video--a girl that Daniel doesn't remember. Why would Bree bring her up? Bree mentions kids were mean to her. That's really all we learn about Cassie in that episode. However, in that episode, Bree is in locations similar to that in Cassie's video.

Which Cassie is real?(The answer: NONE!)
- The Youtube Cassieiswatching( http://tinyurl.com/hmdh2 ) is no longer believed to be involved with the Creators. She has admitted several times that she is the only Cassie, and the others are fake. The official creators have denied involvement with this project.
- The Myspace Cassieiswatching( www.myspace.com/cassieiswatching )has been confirmed as a fake by the YouTube Cassie.
- The Ebay Cassieiswatching( http://tinyurl.com/kmfyd ) is selling tarot cards and worry dolls, with some message about helping Bree. It's believed to be unimportant and a fake.

The Bag in the "This is My Story Now" Movie:
- In the Cassieiswatching video on YouTube, "This is My Story Now", a bag is shown to be dropped in the same location that Bree was swimming at in the "Swimming!!" video.
- In the beginning of the video, Cassie whispers: "I was here." And at the end, "Come and get it." after showing a stream of images that are supposed to help us locate the dropped bag.

CiW continues to draw new fans and curiosity seekers with each passing day. Many new cassiewatchers find themselves in a position of wanting to jump right into the game, eager to add their unique perspective into the mix. Oftentimes, these CiW newbies may do nothing more than expose their lack of background on the subject by rehashing clues that already have been solved; giving primacy to clues that have been discredited; or primacy to CiW accounts that are not involved with the CiW account as featured on YouTube.

Cassieiswatching IS a game, but of a type with which many of you may not be familiar. ARG's or Alternate Reality Games attempt to blur the lines between what is real and what is fictional by integrating elements of the game into our real life experiences. The people behind ARG's are called puppetmasters. One of the mantras of ARG's is the idea of TINaG: This is not a game. Cassie must maintain the illusion of this by keeping in character and by maintaining complete control over the clues and events related to the CiW experiences. Because of this, any Cassieiswatching account other than what is on YouTube must be ignored for the sake of consistent and congruous game play. If this is to ever change, YT Cassieiswatching will let us know. UPDATE: Cassie has confirmed that the Blogspot account http://canyouhearher.blogspot.com is affliated with her.

MySpace Cassieiswatching, eBay Cassieiswatching, and cassieiswatching.com are not part of the true CiW experience and I implore all of you to refrain from devoting any time to solving their clues, as such efforts detract from attempts to determine CiW's real agenda. Unrelated Cassie videos and accounts can be discussed in other forums on this board.

n.b.The subject matter covered by CiW clues and videos may be objectionable to some people. Whereas LG15 videos and associated video replies are considered "PG", CiW at times may not be.

Before jumping to the discussion, please familiarize yourself, with the complete CiW back-story. You can catch up with the following resources:

1). The Summary of Clues thread. This resource will show you every clue that has come to our attention up to the present time.

But true, it could completely throw people off in the midst of heavy work.

We should require login for editing of the LGPedia, but right now anyone could create whatever account.
It'd be nice if they had tied the phpbb userdb in with the wiki's userdb, so you just used the same user account.
