Agreed, deago...that braille was so easy to miss. Personally, I still don't see it in the videos at all because I've got some light vision issues. To me, it just seemed like the usual passing "fog" of the Op videos. Probably meant to be that way for the "casual" viewers...but dang, it was kinf od messed up. |

Just my two cents all:
They can't all be super-huge movie watching laughfest puzzles. And this wasn't really meant for us remember. Bree was supposed to find his number to try to contact him (and we all know she isn't the sharpest spoon in the knife drawer).
Tachyon has the more complex puzzles, because there is a set way of solving them with specific cryptography that her organization uses. She doesn't want her info found except by her people. OpAphid does want the info she puts out found, just on her terms  |

She got her dad's msg, that was pretty good She isn't a stranger to codes, especially since her life did and still does revolve around The Order. And since they posted this vid on her youtube acct and daniels, there isn't a worry that she didn't see it. (Seems bree cannot see OpAphid vids) |

I'm not saying it was too simple. Quite the opposite, it may have been to hard for Bree (I doubt she's seen 8 Mile). All I'm saying is that the fuzzy braille was most of the difficulty in it, which is a secondary effect from vid compression. And anagrams do start to get a bit old.
I hope they get some new ideas for puzzles. I think the Powell dry cleaners one was a simple (Bree-able) and original puzzle, even CUSOON from Bree. We've been making some pretty creative ones (hard and simple) ourselves in the puzzle exercise thread.

Yeah...10 days after we did.  Since they have acknolwedged viewers...what's to say she didn't find out about the code by reading the forums?
Probably the same will happen here, too. It would only work if they posted a code that nobody caught...and then Bree came out and said, "Look what I found in the video?" Making all of us look like doofuses. |

Oh no deagol, I agree with you on the compression thing. If we didn't have members so fanatically devoted to examining every pixel *coughMINTYcough* then it would have been very easy to miss that. I know I didn't see the braile in the vids until someone posted screencaps w/ the contrast adjusted
And I fear going into the Puzzle Exercise Thread. You ever see the movie SCANNERS? Yeah, I'm afraid my head will do that  |

I was really excited, I had been thinking about helping to solve this puzzle all day. Did school, wrote a turnpaper draft, and did some other work, and hoped right on here. I was really dissapointed when I learned this was already solved.
Wow. So, basically I devoted my entire evening last night to this, and helped 0%. I didn't even get close to solving anything. In my entire time HERE I have never been able to contribute anything orther than reversed audio.
So, whether or not I participated made no difference. Be it the large amount of people who collaborated on this, or the few really intelligent people out there, I played no role. It really makes me feal like there's no point for me to continue with this ARG. I love it, but so many people flood the forums nowadays that the puzzles and clues get found before I can even do anything. :/
It really sucks.
(Oh, and if it sounds like I'm complaining, believe me, I'm not. You'll KNOW it when I complain.)
