Quote:
Ms. Kelly has offered a lesson for those planning their next steps in life. (Perhaps it could be for those whose parents are alcoholics, or those fleeing some sinister organization, or for some striking young helper, or for you...)

Perception vs. Reality

There is really nothing comical here. However, on the bright side, there is no reading involved...

just an FYI
thanks

Although gogo seems to believe that Ms. Kelly's video is better because there is no reading involved, I was inspired to transcribe the spoken part of her video. There is but a single word that I cannot make out.

Quote:
What we perceive is often different from the reality of the situation.

Our expectations can cloud our vision. These expectations can even affect our memories: this can cloud our feelings of self-worth. There are some people who rely on this fact.

However, because our past might not be an ideal vision of what we wish life could be, we just have to move forward. Though the seas could be rough, we must forge on; and when the tide seems unyielding, we must continue.

Or, you can save yourself by hiding in the tiniest pond: proud of your most basic ********** in the shallows.

Or, you can dive into wider oceans, where the unpredictable allows for greater motion and freedom.

Or, you can stay a cliché; a big fish in that little pond.

And, if the right choice for you is that little pond, please beware of tiny inlets. Sometimes, they contain brackish water where the sharks can swim in, and will leave you worse than just washed up.

This video is Ms. Kelly's masterpiece, IMHO. Aside from the obvious intended message to danielbeast in the visuals, there are underlying messages in the spoken word directed at many other people.

As gogo mentioned, there is really nothing comical here. If you are not moved by this video, you have a heart of stone.

Edit: because I didn't credit the video properly.

I believe it's "...proud of your most basic movements in the shallows."

Either way, I love Ms. Kelly's voice - very soothing. Applause

Mesmerizing. Hypnotic even. Ms. Kelly does have a way with words. I'm beginning to feel sleepy . . . very sleepy . . . my eyelids are getting heavier . . . and heavier . . . what was it you and TiKO wanted me to do?

Betz- It's nice of you to say that. Thanks.

(Kelly- Is there any chance that Ms. Kelly's voice triggered you to PM any credit card numbers to me or somehow urged you to fill out a blank check?...)

Hey, I'm offended! I watched that video, expecting not to have to read, but you snuck in some text at the end. As an illiterate former fan of your videos, I'm deeply hurt at the betrayal of trust from reading your assurance that reading was not required for this video.

Oh Brucker, if you hadn't gotten all frustrated and panicky at seeing the text, you would have realized that it is a code. A secret coded code. If you would have just translated the letters to binary-leet, then just decoded the pixelization within the font, then simply anagrammed the palildromes, you would have quickly discovered that the text was, in fact, the address to the P.O. Box where people can send their blank, signed checks or credit card info...

Excellent APAZ. And to think that people said YouTube doesn't pay... Eh?
By the way, Ms. Kelly ponchos, tote bags and scented candles that smell like mind-control will all be for sale soon. I also have some plastic rain bonnets with the HSA logo emblazened across the front. The rain bonnets are still in the works. They'll be ready to come on the scene when the rainy season falls upon us... Twisted Evil

gogo, I'm in Oregon...the rainy season is ALWAYS here... Heck, I'm in an area that gets over 4 feet of rain in a <cough> normal year...and we got about 2 feet in a couple of days, just for kicks, at the beginning of November. Had fish swimming in the streets and people fishing off their front porches (when they still had front porches).

There's definitely a market year-'round for anything to do with rain...water images abound. Would you like me to look into this more...ummm...specific market for you?
