I never saw that one, but I'm influenced by people like Marshall McLuhan, William Gibson, Neil Stephenson . . .
And I'm excited about the N3ural N3t fan fiction video that just popped up recently.

Here's a short cut to the wikipedia page on Neal Stephenson. He is a prolific writer, and he's amazingly knowledgable.
My favorite of his works, which very much ties into the "Do You Know?" video, is a book called "Cryptonomicon".

Oy, Myspace would be the 11th largest country in the world?
That was really interesting-- it reminded me of the estimation that today, we release something like 10 times the emissions daily than we did in a year during the post-industrial revolution 1800s.
That freaks me the f**k out.

I know. That's pretty crazy isn't it, given the small percent of world demographics we (americans) constitute. But, as the video says, "Shift Happens". We have the power to change that.
