Mega tight and really, really old.
It took me like 20 minutes to stop laughing long enough to change my pants. |

Nope, no such luck. My daughter was rolling on the floor laughing and Jay was pissed off because the camera didn't have any batteries... |

Ok, that's even better!! Well, for me to laugh at, then. Did you have to lay on your bed and have someone use a pair of pliars to zip them up (no I've never done it but I've seen Dazed and Confused too many times)?
I can't stand jeans (all pants really) shopping. My legs are short but thin--except for large thighs and a big ass. So I can find a size that fits but is way too long. I'm begining to think they just don't make bottoms at ALL in my size. |

No, there were no pliers involved, just a fair amount of jumping to pull them up (having just put lotion on didn't really help, either ).
I have HUGE issues buying pants. It takes me forever to find a pair that fits. I'm short but my legs are long and I have big thighs because of dancing for so long... I actually have my pants altered now, because I'm sick and tired of trying to get all parts to fit perfectly. I find a pair that makes my ass look good, I snatch em up and then have the seamstress fix whatever isn't right with the other parts. Usually, its the waistline is big on me. I have to shop for my ass and thighs, so the waistline usually gaps quite a bit. |

| I'm a What Not to Wear junkie and they're forever praising the "get the pants altered" route. Is it very expensive to do? I cant fathom spending money on TOP of money to get a pair of pants to fit, but at the same extent, I'm very fustrated with how I cant get anything to fit "just right". Not to mention that I get so fed up with trying on jeans at the stores that I give up after a couple of pairs and decide to buy cute tops instead (which is a whole 'nother issue, being pretty dang top heavy). As soon as my tax return comes back I'm gonna go out and do some shopping (I really am lacking in the bottoms catagory in my closet), and if I can't find anything that fits (most likely), I might finally give in and try to find a seamstress. |

It really isn't that expensive at all...depending on how intensive the alteration is, I spend between 5 and 10 dollars.
I just bought a sewing machine for the studio, so I'm hoping to teach myself how to do it |

You know, that's always an option too. I've got many friends and family members with sewing machines...I'll have to question their expertise.
5-10 isn't bad, mostly because I don't care to spend a lot on jeans in the first place. I'll have to check it out next time I pick up a pair.
Speaking of splitting pants, I'm off to have some lunch. See you in a little while, dear. Don't bust anything while I'm gone! |

I just hemmed my own pants for the first time on my new sewing machine! I felt so accomplished. Of course, with jeans remember ot get the jeans needle.
Oh...trick to getting the tight jeans on...spray with a spraybottle of water and do a couple lunge type movments...stretches them a bit. Yes, Chic jeans...if anyone remembers... _________________
