She said that she couldn't sleep. She stayed up all night and couldn't stop thinking about it.

Before we had been discussing Daniel being brainwashed and how there might be possible triggers to set him off or to control him by OpAphid..What if that symbol was Bree's trigger?

After she saw it, she went 'crazy' and tied up Jonas.

Any thoughts?

I don't know...all this discussion about triggers and voice distortion...

i understand why people are seeing it that way, but i just don't think it fits...

mind you ... i could be wrong.

I agree with BA! I think there is a chance it was meant to trigger her into a certain action. It could be done. Make her extremely militant towards whoever was found to be in posession of the symbol...which in this case was Jonas.

Afterall, it wasn't the exact SAME symbol as OpAphids. Who knows what it could mean?

Bree not sleeping and staying up all night thinking about it sounds like the natural reaction of someone who is upset, confused, and doesn't know what to do. I don't think it has anything to do with a trigger.

yes but the symbol that bree is holding is in the cracked file...

so it cn be easily assumed that they are both connected.

I think the reason Bree is reacting like this to the whole situation is not because of a trigger but because she's on some sort of power trip after the whole tricking the Order and learning some new tricks from Tachyon.
But basically what she is doing is abusing her power by letting all of her anger that has built up over the past 6 months out on Jonas, while she still doesn't know what that symbol means, or if Jonas is connected to the Order the way she thinks he is.

oh and don't most of these symbols also have a numeric meaning
like pi is 3.14

maybe all these numbers could lead up to something as well

maybe in hex

or maybe another phonenumber

or an internet adress????????

It is possible that the jpg from Tach is some kind of yin-yang thing, and that symbol is actually the symbol for some anti-op group. Maybe Jonas' parents were taken down by the order and they left that behind for him so he could continue their work. It'd explain why he was so willing to help D&B back in the day.

I just think that Jonas was impressively dark and manipulative when he was tied up, no doubt ploys taught by the order. He even had the patented 'Oppy Stare' down. I think it belongs to him and he's with the Order, it would fit so well, but that's too predictable.

I want to know why Jonas was so ready to punch that Watcher. If I saw a Watcher, I'd cower in fear.
