Something has been bothering me about this last vid. Besides the obvious.
Before Jonas storms in, DB points to the photos and says he likes the one on the left. Then Alex says "That's your right"
Now am I crazy, that was DB's left hand, pointing to the left side of the left page.
I don't really know what the significance of this is, but it's way to obvious to really just be a mistake.
Also the music comes in at an odd time and is also fairly obvious. I noticed there is some sheet music behind Alex at the end of the vid. Any significance here? |

It looked as if she sat down at a piano..and maybe had been playing it after they left and when Dan was coming back to knock on the door. I was thinking that maybe it was his trigger or something(not the piano, but the song that was being played). This could tie in with the reason why he was just like "o_o" when she told him to sit down and shut up(or whatever she said..its late, my brain is refusing to function).

I think it was just more playful banter.
Alex was right: when Daniel had the book in his hand, the photo he was talking about was on his right. So he turns the book around and hands it to her and says "that one on the left there is my favourite" she flicks her eyes to what would have been his right, but because he's handed the book to her facing away from him, it's become his left, her right. This is why she says "that's your right"... it is, when the pictures were facing him. He stuffs up by saying "it's your left", no, it's her right too. It's confusing so it's funny (and they're flirting).
I don't think it means anything though

While it could be the trigger, I also think it's possible that Daniel could have been taken aback by her authoritive, aggressive, attitude. Daniel had never seen this side of her before, and it probably shocked him into speechlessness.

Yeah, he's kind of a baby. XD I always thought that was it too. Guys and older women...they just usually look brainwashed or as though they don't have free will. I think that's allure of the Oedipus kink, don't have to do anything but listen to mommy. Do we know if Danny even HAD a good relationship with his mom? I know she was drunk but was she angry drunk? Or manipulative while sober?
Women with only one son can get uber crazy with the guilt and manipulation. Danny has a crazy mom = looking for maternal acceptence in shiny podcreatures? Maybe Bree deciding she can take care of herself triggered (the only trigger I think, the only further plot advance we get by way of danny's experience in spinart park is him remembering something important they tried to repress) feeling of helplessness and we know Danny went back to his former methods of courting at the party, regression?
I think the left/right thing is just banter. Something that bothered me about Alex though, is that every other sentence she seems to be turning evil all over again- like she couldn't decide how she wanted to do it. Each statement is a slightly different take on her big badass moment. She does the sighing and " I'm so bored being evil" thing, she does the " I am but the first of many" deal, she does the oh-so hard transition from anal designer to " in charge womyn spy zomg", then and then she decides " You know what? Screw this. I'm not going to be the OCD, shiny evil designer operative, the first villian before the progressively harder ones until you reach the boss and NO I am NOT bored being evil- I'm just going to get lame and personal. Now I am simply EVIIL AAAWNT ALEX! I will try and break Jonas' heart by telling him his parents got brainwashed and don't remember him...even though he's adjusted enough to realize that them being entrapped means they CAN'T remember him and he has a chance of seeing them alive again because they busted somebody out once and they can do it again!"
Of course, her being all over the map could be because ( I know I'm breaking some grammatical rule...just not sure which) she didn't expect it to happen and she had not got instrucitons on what to do yet. Cult members usually are not that creative...

I only saw her make one change...and that was when she changed from what she was before Daniel went outside, and what she was when she opened the door.
Perhaps she called someone to get instructions on how to handle the situation while D&J were outside talking.
