They could have left it like 'cassie was just a girl Bree knew'
But after Daniel mentioned her in 'Miss Me' and the 'cassandra' at the board in the bunker she gotta be important to the story

I honestly don't believe the "we had nothing to do with cassieiswatching"...But I'm paranoid xD
But yeah, Cassie isn't just some girl! Like Sami pointed out, why would Dan mention her (along with the carnival games...) when he was kidnapped, huh? |

tbh I don't think the creators did CiW, seems like something Glenn would do instead. But you never know. They might just have hidden it because of the "zomg offended"-ness from the video with the Charlie Manson murders. 
Anyway yeah, they need to touch back up on the Alexandria/Cassandra subject! I mean they mentioned it so long ago, maybe it'll come back up soon? u_u Or maybe they'll just completely ignore it.
