OK..So it didn't turn out the way I designed it. It kind of sucks. Still, it was fun to do and I still feel like the message is important. Comments about how to improve it are welcome. I'm still learning how to make higher quality videos, and I really appreciate all the awesome support you guys have given me so far!

I didn't know that tigers were facing such serious issues of with their habitats. However since you got me interested, I went to this page from the World Wildlife Federation's site and learned more. It is wonderful that you are using your interests in video to approach important topics that are relevant in the greater scope of our world (and are obviously very important issues to you and others). Gogo, thanks for asking. I'm disappointed because the second to last frame flashed by too quickly for people to read. Also, the song cut off in the wrong place, because the images did not play in the same time span I designed them in. Strangely, even compressed, it came out differently on my pc than on YouTube. Also, there were no weird pixely squares over the words!

I also uploaded the very same video, "Dr. Marbella's Group Therapy with Stuffed Friends," to Revver and I took it down in a heartbeat because my voice did not match the words. This is weird, because that didn't happen on YouTube. I just never know how things will turn out.

I have a very cool new vid camera, but it is complex for me to learn to use. I'm planning to redo the group therapy video and then upload it to Revver to see if that makes a difference.

What happens when it goes on these sites? Does anyone know?

(oh and I'm really thrilled you are interested in the plight of white tigers. They are fading fast. In fact, very, very fast and there is little time to save them. They are my favorite animal, so that distresses me.)

Thank you for your reply, Marbella. I have very little technical knowledge about the sites and elaborate video editing programs. I'm sure that with continued practice, trial & error and good ole fashion messing around that you'll get up to speed on your new cool camera. I have uploaded a video or two myself, then quickly did the snatch-down in hopes that no one would ever see it. I guess these are pretty common issues. Again, thanks for the response.

One thing I LOVE so much about this forum is that I can get support and feedback re: amateur video making. I LOVE doing it so much and I hope to continue improving in every way possible.

Thanks for responding about your experiences, Gogo. That actually helps me feel less alone.

I won't take down the tiger vid. So far, two Chinese tiger rescue organizations have added it to their web-site. That makes me very happy!!

What wonderful validation to have rescue groups add your vid, Marbella!!

I haven't made a video (yet?)...so I think of vid-makers as magicians, personally... (and all magicians love me...cuz I can never figure out how they do ANYthing! Very Happy
