ok i just want to know exactly why "lying bastards" was called that?? im just very confused?? sorry if you have already discussed this?

I figured it was because 'free will' is supposed to be a major thing and the way Alex was talking they weren't upholding that.

Because if they (the order or religion, whatever) say that Free Will is a major part of their religion and it is used to draw people in, but then they go against that...it would make them "lying bastards'. Plus, Danny boy has a soft spot for Alex.
