I can't find anything that is "foutain" without it being a "fountain" typo.
Kitten- because I have some things preventing me from posting until late August.

Don't feel bad. No one was getting it either. Maddison ended up giving the info again. Then they took her "intuitive hints" and used it to decode the thing.
I will never know how to decode anything! I'm not even good at regular crossword puzzles! Decoders rule.

Oh, and note the "obill" in the answer? The same "obill" that Deagol came up with? Not a coincidence, that's how Vigenere autokey works.

....it's a typo, should have been "fountain town" referring to KC.
Stormy venue= hurricaine.
8404=4048...
....it's perfect.
