I'm not going to be around the forums the next few days. I'm in my school choir and we are going on a field trip to DISNEY WORLD! I'm pretty excited. We'll be performing twice, once being a national competition.

Also, for those who I talked to about my cousin (who goes to VA tech), I saw him today. He was very quiet and untalkitive, which doesn't usually fit his character at all. It was kind of disturbing seeing him like that, but we did make him laugh a few times during Trivial Pursuit! He will be going back to school as soon as he feels decent (he's a bit of a workaholic), and I let him know about this forum and everyone on here who said kind words. He smiled when I told him. Smile

Thanks so much for giving him that, really. My aunt has been asking him to seek professional help, but he is being a bit stubborn. Hopefully after some time he'll feel ready to talk it out with someone who knows how to help. Meanwhile, he knows we're all here for him.

I'll be back really late Sunday night, so I probably won't check the forums till Monday afternoon. Wish us luck!

If anyone lives in the Orlando area, and is interested in coming to watch, you can PM me. Don't feel obligated though. And if anyone loves me enough to write me plane letters.. you can PM me with those too! I like reading nice things on trips and I'm terrified of flying! So you can all comfort me! Laughing

I'll be busy most of the night but I'll check back later probably.

Good luck with your singing, Loretta! I'm so glad to hear your cousin's physically well. I can't even imagine the traumatic aftermath associated with an event of that gravity... We l'care about you both and wish you all the best!

Have fun! I went there with the marching band (don't be hatin') and it was sooo fun. My thoughts are with your cousin, hopefully in time he'll start perking back up.

Enjoy your trip, dear!! Sounds like tons of fun!! *is jealous that she doesn't get to go anywhere fun this year*

And just be patient with your cousin. He has a lot to work through in his mind before he'll be able to talk about it. Its going to take a lot of time for him to come to terms with what happened and all anyone can do is offer love and support.
