Poor Pluto is the twenty-ninth video in the Lonelygirl15 video series, and could be considered a part of the Proving Science Wrong series.

Transcript
Bree: (holding up a pair of scissors) For today's "Proving Science Wrong" I turned Daniel into a pair of scissors. (Bree opens and closes the scissors three times) I just decided I needed scissors more than I needed someone reading a magazine on my bed. (Bree holds up a mobile, apparently of the solar system) Remember these? Well it's time to snip off Pluto. (she does) (cut to her holding up the picture of Pluto to the camera) Being half the size of Antarctica just couldn't've helped, and then there was the question of all that unorthodox orbiting. (short section in fast-forward during which Bree appears to be lecturing to the picture of Pluto: "Around here we orbit the sun in a perfect circle or we don't orbit at all.") Pluto is no longer a planet. Ceres? Xena? UB 313?! These are Pluto's new friends. Do they sound like the kids that you want to eat lunch with? No way! So today instead of proving science wrong we're gonna help Pluto adjust to his new peer group. First thing you're gonna have to learn to deal with: rings. I know a couple of your old friends had 'em. Saturn, Jupiter, but you're gonna have to accept that these new friends of yours don't have rings. As you probably know, I've been home schooled most of my life, and then I went to high school. During my first week there I had this teacher that I really liked and he was really into stars and I love stars, so I asked a lot of questions. So pretty soon, kids started saying that I thought I was so-o-o-o smart or something, and I told myself that I didn't care and (sighs) then they started saying that I was from a star. I kept asking questions. So finally they stopped calling me "Stargirl" and they stopped saying that I thought that I was smart, and instead they started saying that I was...doing something with my teacher. And that's when I stopped asking questions about stars.

Notes
*It has been speculated that this video alludes to the work of H.P. Lovecraft, albeit quite vaguely. Pluto and Antarctica both play a prevailant role in the Cthulhu mythos, and the "cephalopod" tag was taken by some as an allusion to the character Cthulhu. Bree mentions that she was accused of being "from a star" - aliens are also a common motif in the fiction of Lovecraft. LonesomeOctober, who at first was believed to be official by many, furthered this speculation.
*Ceres is the largest object in the astroid belt and was designated a dwarf planet along with Pluto.
*Xena was the nickname of a trans-Neptunian object UB-313 discovered in 2005. Slightly larger than the former planet Pluto, instead of making Xena a new planet, both of them were classified as dwarf planets instead. The official name for this object, Eris, was assigned to it on September 13, 2006, just a week after this episode aired and on the same day that Yousef Abu-Taleb was revealed to be the person playing Daniel.
*Though Bree refers to Xena and UB-313 seperately, they are actually the same object.

I mean I never actually got to meet him or anything. In fact...I don't know much about him at all. Well, besides Daniel's complaints about having to tape some religious play one time, and of course there were those periodic bannings from Bree's house, but beyond that, I never even glimpsed him around town. Despite that, I still feel like...that something was lost, something you can't get back, and there's nothing that I or anyone else can do to make it up to him or...can't even go and pay my respects. Maybe I should pull a Nikki B. and scour the obituary pages, looking for a grave listing or something. (Paul smiles and shakes his head.) Ah, as if the Order would actually let that information out. So, I guess the best solution for now, to get over the death of a man I never even met, is, as suggested, to write an ode. Introducing... Paul and Andrea is the first video in the Paul & Andrea series, posted in response to What's A Date?

Transcript
Paul: Hey guys, it's Paul, after the events of late, you know, the party and everything, let's just say Bree's taking a little break. So Andrea and I have decided to fill in while she's gone as a way of saying thanks for all she's done. You know, for bringing us all those interesting stories and facts, despite their actual historical or scientific value. Can you believe what YouTube's done to Bree though? I mean, upload a few videos of yourself and suddenly James Lipton is asking you what your favorite curse word is. She can't keep this up forever, so that's why we thought we'd bring you some more of her facts while she's gone. Isn't that right, Andrea?

(Andrea mumbles in disinterest and Paul shakes his head in dismay.)

Paul: First things first, if we're gonna do this, we're gonna need books.

(Music plays during a montage of Paul gathering books and teasing Andrea.}

Paul: Here's one. Did you know that in the countries of Ecuador and Peru the people eat 65 million guinea pigs a year. And that they come served complete with the head and claws. I think I've had enough of that book. (Paul pulls out a different book.) Alright, did you know that Julius Caesar's last act as head of the Roman Republic, before he was murdered in that whole Ides of March business, was to appoint an office whose sole job was to monitor Rome's supply of corn. That's a lot of corn. (an ear of corn flies from off screen and hits Paul in the head.) I think I've had enough with random facts for now. (Paul is now holding an ear of corn, and removing the husk.) So anyway, a lot of you have been looking into Bree and trying to figure out why she seems so fake and why there are a million seeming coincidences from her. The truth is: science has the answer, and it's all thanks to none other than the Baader-Meinhoff Phenomenon. Looks like this time, science is gonna prove you wrong. (A Purple monkey puppet appears behind Paul and starts dancing around) The Baader-Meinhoff basically states that our brains have to find patterns in everything. So whether it's an unusual word coming up three times in the same day, or the fact that Bree's cousin's neice by marriage contracted a California lawyer to help patent Bree's screen name who's the father of an actress who owns a dog that once competed in a fluffiest poodles contest with one of the pets of the creators of YouTube, I think. It's all just a coincidence. Imagine if you guys started keeping track of all the non-coincidental things about Bree. (Paul glances over and sees Andrea burying her head in the magazine she's flipping through, sniffing it.) What are you doing?

Andrea: (annoyed) Smells nice.

Paul: So keep that in mind next time you realize there's a county in Wisconsin that shares the same name as Bree's favorite shoe brand. That's just the Baader-Meinhoff Phenomenon at work. (brief montage of Andrea spinning a magazine on her finger.) So there you have it, now I'm sure all your questions have been answered. See ya. (Paul raises his hand to wave good-bye and is startled to see P.Monkey on his hand.)

Notes
* James Lipton is the host of the television series "Inside The Actors Studio" that interviews established actors and actresses about their techniques.
* The Ides of March, or March 15, is the day Julius Caesar was assassinated.
* The Baader-Meinhoff Phenomenon is not an actual scientific principle, but rather a theory that developed on an internet discussion board. It is how seemingly meaningful coincidences are, often times, just coincidences.
* The California Lawyer Paul mentions was Kenneth Goodfried who had recently trademarked "lonelygirl15."
* Paul is lampooning some of the absurd connections that fans were finding in lonelygirl15 videos in the ongoing Hunt for Bree.
*Andrea's failed attempt to spin a magazine on her finger resembles a more successful spin performed by Daniel at the end of Daniel Returns, and More Interesting Factoids (Yay!).
