'''Jonas''' a.k.a. '''jonastko''' is a [[Revver]]/[[YouTube]] user who started leaving video comments on [[Bree]]'s videos and eventually became friends with Bree and [[Daniel]]. Most of his initial videos take place in what he says is his father's study.

Jonas's first videos were uploaded from [[Jonas's house|his house]]. He lived there alone because his [[Jonas's parents|parents]] were reportedly [[Happy Thanksgiving|lost at sea]] when he was thirteen years old. He seems to have inherited their house, a cabin in the mountains, and a large sum of money.

==Background==
Although an amount of money is never given, Jonas owns a large house, a cabin, at least two vehicles, and appears to have paid all of Bree and Daniel's bills for several months. Jonas has also mentioned that he does not work and has no intention to. Prior to turning 18, he had a full-time nanny and attended a lot of psychotherapy. To support this lifestyle indefinitely, Jonas must have inherited at least several million dollars.

Jonas says that he has been too quick to trust people in the past. He has been taken advantage of for his money and mentions that once he stopped throwing giant parties, a lot of his friends stopped calling him.

Many fans have observed that Jonas is something of a "lonelyboy". While Bree turned to books and stuffed animals, Jonas has turned to pop-culture and sports. Jonas makes constant references to movies and TV shows, often very obscure ones, and also enjoys extreme sports, boxing and foosball.

==Adventures with TAAG==
Jonas offered Bree and Daniel help in the form of [[Trust Issues|shelter and financial support]]. [[Bree]] and [[Daniel]] were wary of going to live with a stranger that they met over the internet, but Jonas insisted. He gave them a [[The Anti-Cribs|virtual tour]] of his house and suggested that they test him so he could prove that his trustworthiness. Daniel took his suggestions and [[The Test|asked fans to vote]] on what they thought they should do. Fans chose to trust Jonas, but [[Your Decision|Daniel refused to go]], [[Skateboarding|leaving Bree alone with Jonas.]] He eventually came to live with them at [[Christmas Surprise|Christmas time]].

Jonas gained Bree and Daniel's trust and friendship after he came through for Daniel when [[Bree's Gone|Bree ran away]], and after he helped them escape when [[45 Seconds|Bree's father died]]. Jonas also participated in [[Valentine's Day Massacre|Daniel's rescue]] and got to meet [[Tachyon]] and [[Brother]]. However, this trust was temporarily shattered when Bree suspected him of [[How Dumb Am I?|being in the Order]] and [[Interrogation 101|held him hostage]]. Jonas managed to [[Proving Bree Wrong|prove his innocence]] in the eyes of Bree and Daniel by showing them a document written by his father proving [[Jonas's parents|his parents]] were against [[the Order]].

Jonas didn't forgive Bree for holding him hostage right away, but stuck with her and Daniel. He brought Bree and Daniel to his [[On The Road Again|Aunt Alex's house]], who was away on business at the time. Jonas tried breaking into his Aunt's office to see if there was more information about his parents and their involvement with the Order, but ended up [[Flesh Wound|cutting his hand in the process]]. After a trip to a local veterinarian to get fixed, Jonas found a [[My Hand Hurts|folder]] containing names of people who were also against the Order who had disappeared. Jonas's aunt came back in town, and Jonas and Daniel were invited by [[Alex]] to a [[Uncle Dan|fashion party]]. Daniel and Alex appeared to be very interested in each other, much to Jonas's dismay. Jonas's cousin [[Toby]] was also at this party, whom he hadn't seen since his [[Jonas's parents|parents]] funeral. Bree posted a [[Lucy!?!?!|video]] saying there was a photo at the party which she thought was Alex and [[Lucy]] and warned the guys to leave Alex's home and meet up with her.

After finding out about Alex's [[Lying Bastards|true allegiance]], Jonas went back with Bree and Daniel to find the [[New Girl|new ceremony girl]]. After finding [[Jules]],who they thought was the new girl, BDJ met up with [[Taylor]] and [[Sarah]] and embarked on a new journey to save her. Later, Bree gave herself up to save Jules, and Jonas and Daniel spent the rest of their time [[Oh, The Places You'll Go|following the Order]] and trying to save her. Finally locating where Bree had been hidden, Jonas, along with Daniel and Sarah, went to her and Jonas forcibly took Bree back.

A short while after trying to "unbrainwash" a very resistant Bree, Jonas became convinced that she had snapped out of it and the two started to become closer. Although Daniel was suspicious that Jonas was [[Taking Advantage of Her]], Jonas continued getting closer to Bree and [[HOLY SH%T!!!|slept with her]] the day before she [[The Morning After|ran back]] to the [[Hymn of One]].

Recruiting the help of [[Spencer]] Gilman, the son of [[Isaac Gilman]], Jonas once again set out to save Bree. Through many hardships, TAAG followed Bree's trail all the way to the ceremony, where [[Lonelygirl15 Season Finale 10 of 12 - 5 pm|Bree died.]] Directly after her death, Jonas was shattered, Taylor [[Lonelygirl15 Season Finale 11 of 12 - 6 pm|said:]]''"...I think, when Bree died, it's like... she took him with her. ==Life After Bree==
After the death of Bree, Jonas fell into a deep depression which many thought he would not recover from.

Jonas, like many other characters, [[I'm Done|announced]] he would no longer be posting videos. Soon after this, however, the mysterious [[LaRezisto]] posted a [[Remember Them?|video]] showing his parents and telling Jonas that they are alive. Although Jonas initially reacted in anger at seeing his parents again, he decided to [[A Family Affair|reunite]] with them. At this reunion, Jonas met his adopted sister, [[Emma]], for the first time and also found out that his parents are active members of the Hymn of One. Taylor found out that Emma was the next [[trait positive]] girl, and after The Order [[Home Invasion|invaded]] their home and demanded Emma, Jonas took her on the [[Grand Canyon|run.]] Later, he lost Emma when he decided to trust LaRezisto and [[Watch Your Back|handed Emma over]] to [[Claire]], the woman behind the LaRezisto posts. When several [[She's Telling The Truth|alarming videos]] were posted by Emma and Claire, Jonas started to become [[Pi|obsessed]] with finding a code in Emma's gestures.

After an upsetting [[Batting Practice|phone call]] with his father, Jonas told us he would no longer be helping anyone and only focusing on getting Emma back, but he was soon back to fighting the Order by helping Daniel and Sonia [[They'll Do Anything|kidnap]] the new [[Ceremony baby]]. After Mallory [[A Woman's Touch|secretly got information]] from [[Chris]], Daniel posted a video [[What's Going on?|following]] Chris to a meeting in which it was revealed that the [[Hymn Of One|HoO]] had created a partnership between themselves, [[Verdas Pharmaceuticals]], and the [[Wyman Foundation]].

==The Truth About His Family==
Jonas so far has five family members who have been in the series.
*His [[Remember Them?|parents]] were in a [[On The Road Again|movement against the Order]]. They have [[Eternal Freaks|no memory]] of the time before their disappearance and are now members of the [[Hymn Of One]].
*His [[Alex|Aunt Alex]] was found to be [[Alex Is...|part of the Order]], though she later [[Proceed with Caution|realigned her loyalties]] and [[Mission Possible|helped fight the order.]]
*Jonas also has a cousin, [[Toby]], whose alignment has not been confirmed.
*Jonas has an adopted sister, [[Emma]], who is trait positive.

==Notes==
*Many have also speculated that Jonas is gay. This arose both from his friendship with Daniel, and his lack of interest in Bree. Although, in "[[Uncle Dan]]," Jonas is apparently interested in a girl named [[Carla]] who comes on to him very strongly. This is evidenced by his giddy reaction to the camera after she gives him a little kiss. He also [[Uncle Dan (D-Bone Remix)|rejects the advances]] of another man at the party, [[Damien]]. After getting Bree back, he and Bree were [[Relationships#Bree and Jonas|getting very close]]. It was confirmed that Bree lost her virginity to Jonas.
*On YouTube and Revver, Jonas uses the name jonastko. The name is a reference to Jonas's boxing hobby. The letters T.K.O. are used in boxing as an abbreviation for "Technical Knock-Out."
*According to the video [[On The Road Again]], Jonas's last name could very well begin with a "W," due to the fact that his father used his initials to write, ''The Order in the Modern Empire''. As a result, Jonas was the first character in the series whose last name is, at least, partially known.

==Fan Activity==
Fans remained largely suspicious of Jonas's motives in offering such generous support to Bree and Daniel. Fans noted that Jonas initially only extended support to Bree, rather than to both Bree and Daniel. Moreover, because he simultaneously became a member and posted his first video and showed interest in Bree when she was on the run from [[the Order]], fans were suspicious that he may be connected with the Order. He is indeed connected to the Order through his family, which is divided into supporters and detractors of the Order. How much Jonas actually knows about the Order and its counter movements is unknown, but it seems to be very little.

Since the inclusion of Jonas as a regular, his popularity has slowly grown. In May 2007 a fan club was started in his honor. It is called the [[Jonas Fan Club | Secret Society of Jonas Fans]] because of the indication that Jonas is shy around accolades. Its members are required to type "Shhhh!!!" in their comments when in the IC section.

There are two possible derivations of the name Jonas:
*Jonas is the Latin derivation of the Greek form (Ionas) of the Hebrew name Jonah (dove). It is widely presumed that Jonas's name is a reference to the [[Bible|Biblical]] Jonah, who was swallowed by a fish, because this would tie in to the story of his lost parents. Jessi was the actress that played [[Lucy]]. She is an aspiring actress and currently a receptionist at the [[New York Film Academy]] where [[Jessica Lee Rose]] was a student.

This information was made public when [[the Creators]] provided [[TWJaniak]] with production credits for use on the [[LGPedia]]. Before Jessi Williams was revealed to be the Lucy actress, fans speculated that [[Amy Aitken]], [[Liza Weil]] or [[Amanda Goodfried]] played the role.

After the release of [[The Human Ransom]] the [[Admin]] account on the LGPedia updated the credits to indicate that [[Lucy]] had been played by [[Amanda Goodfried]] in that video as well as in [[On The Run]]. Indeed, Lucy is always (conveniently) wearing large dark [[sunglasses]] that would make it possible that she's been played by two different actresses. [[The Human Ransom]] is also the first video in which she's been seen up close.

About Location pages for KM... we may want to wait a bit before we decide how to do this because at this rate they'll be filming all over London. So we could end up with:
*By City - "Images of London."
*By Postcode - "Images of EC1", "Images of W1" etc. (London postcodes that UK people will easily understand and can be explained to others - EC1 = East Central 1, W1 = West 1 etc.) Advantage = exact with no discussion required.
*By London Area Name - "Images of Spitalfields", "Images of Soho" etc. (these are the names of small areas of London). Advantage = friendly names rather than impersonal postcodes but there are grey areas as it were on deciding where one area starts and another ends.
*By Street Name - "Images of Brushfield Street", "Images of Carnaby Street" etc. This could become a problem given the number of streets that will be filmed upon.
*All of the above so you can browse images however you like. Disadvantage = lot of work for every image.

== Re-Organization Day ==

Okay, this conversation has been going on for a while, and now I'm starting to agree with it. We need to find a way to separate KateModern and LG15. The answer: change everything from [[Characters]] to KM:Characters and LG:Characters. Sounds easy, right? Wrong-o. There has to be an easier way to do it. There needs to be some idea that we can do and devote a day to changing links and reorganizing the entire LGPedia. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but we gotta do something... fast. The only thing I can suggest thats better is for the tech people at LG15.com to set up another wiki. == Vandalism ==
I was shocked by the amount of vandalism that is talking place on the lgpedia lately. I just went to recent changes and half of them were banning of vandals/spammers. This is becoming a serious problem, as our hardworking members should not have to constantly ban all these IP addresses when their time could be better spent. :I'm glad you started the discussion. I'm not really sure what the best solution is this time. Before, when the spamming took the form of external links, we were able to filter those by requiring verification when an external link was added. The only solution I can think of for this problem is to require something similar for every edit that is made. I'm not sure if it'd be possible to restrict that to anonymous users or not, but if so that's a possibility. The obvious downside is that it could become a huge hassle for people trying to edit normally. But maybe there's a creative solution that hasn't occurred to me. ::Yes there is - to set that up, we'd either have to protect each page manually (or, ''they''), or we need the FTP access I requested ''months'' ago. But both options would put off casual, unregistered users. You'd be punishing a large majority of users for the deeds of a small, non-community minority of spammers.

:::Requiring a username was brought up a while back, and we decided that it's simply not worth it. As Renegade said, it'd be cutting off a lot of people who would otherwise contribute. When I first started editing, I didn't have a username and I don't think I would have gotten involved if I had had to register right away. Oh, and xwestsidex is a vandal from a while ago who pops his pathetic head in every once in a while to cause what he thinks is mischief. I don't usually make comments on pages like this, but I thought I'd point a few things out. 
-In the last day, there have been 68 edits by anonymous users. 55 of those edits were made by IPs currently banned for being a vandal. 
-5 of those remaining 13 were reverted. 
 
As far as edits go that actually "improved" this wiki... 
-2 were people reverting poor edits (one was me!). 
-There was an edit that corrected who posted clues to Emma's code. 
-One changed a period to a question mark. 
-Three edits were right after each other, and probably could've just been one. 
-There was an edit to theories about Purple Monkey, which is a funny section.

Perhaps Toby and Carla are not members of the Order at all.

* Fans have wondered why Carla is so intent on getting Jonas (who has spent months risking his life to save a friend/lover only to be stabbed and to have her killed) to talk. Why does she care? Can't she imagine that someone in his situation might want time to himself and might not want to flirt with her?
* Fans have wondered why Toby would put up with Carla's annoyances, as well.
