'''Jonas''' a.k.a. '''jonastko''' is a [[Revver]]/[[YouTube]] user who started leaving video comments on [[Bree]]'s videos and eventually became friends with Bree and [[Daniel]]. Most of his videos take place in what he says is his father's study.

Jonas's first videos were uploaded from [[Jonas's house|his house]]. He lived there alone because his [[Jonas's parents|parents]] were [[Happy Thanksgiving|lost at sea]] when he was thirteen years old. He seems to have inherited their house, a cabin in the mountains, and a large sum of money.

==Adventures with Bree and Daniel==
Jonas offers Bree and Daniel help in the form of [[Trust Issues|shelter and financial support]]. [[Bree]] and [[Daniel]] are wary of coming to live with a stranger that they met over the internet, but Jonas insists. He gives them a [[The Anti-Cribs|virtual tour]] of his house and suggests that they test him so he can prove he's trustworthy. Daniel takes his suggestions and [[The Test|asks fans to vote]] on what they think they should do. Fans chose to trust Jonas, but [[Your Decision|Daniel refuses to go]], leaving Bree alone with Jonas. He eventually comes to live with them at [[Christmas Surprise|Christmastime]].

He eventually gains Bree's and Daniel's trust and friendship, coming through for Daniel when [[Bree's Gone|Bree ran away]], and helping them escape when [[45 Seconds|Bree's father died]]. Jonas also participates in [[Valentine's Day Massacre|Daniel's rescue]] and gets to meet [[Tachyon]] and [[Brother]]. However, this trust was temporarily shattered when Bree suspects him of [[How Dumb Am I?|being in the Order]] and [[Interrogation 101|holds him hostage]]. Jonas manages to [[Proving Bree Wrong|prove himself innocent]] in the eyes of Bree and Daniel by showing them that [[Jonas's parents|his parents]] were against [[the Order]].

==The Truth About His Family==
Jonas so far has four family members who have been in the series. His parents were in a [[On The Road Again|movement against the Order]]. His [[Alex|aunt]], however, [[Alex Is...|belongs to the Order]]. He also has a cousin, [[Toby]], whose alignment has not been confirmed, but since he is a friend of his aunt, he might be a member as well.

==Jonas's life==
Although an amount of money is never given, Jonas owns a large house, a cabin, at least two vehicles, and appears to have been paying all of Bree's and Daniel's bills for several months. Jonas has also mentioned that he does not work and has no intention to. Prior to turning 18, he had a full-time nanny and attended a lot of psychotherapy. To support this lifestyle indefinitely, Jonas must have inherited at least several million dollars.

Jonas says that he has been too quick to trust people in the past. He has been taking advantage of for his money and mentions that once he stopped throwing giant parties, a lot of his friends stopped calling him.

Many fans have observed that Jonas is something of a lonelyboy. While Bree turned to books and stuffed animals, Jonas has turned to pop-culture and sports. Jonas makes constant references to movies and TV shows, often very obscure ones, and also enjoys extreme sports, boxing and foosball.

Many have also speculated that Jonas is gay. This arose both from his friendship with Daniel, and his lack of interest in Bree. Although, in "[[Uncle Dan]]," Jonas is apparently interested in a girl named [[Carla]] who comes on to him very strongly. This is evidenced by his giddy reaction to the camera after she gives him a little kiss. He also [[Uncle Dan (D-Bone Remix)|rejects the advances]] of another man at the party, [[Damien]].

==Fan Distrust==
Fans remain largely suspicious of Jonas's motives in offering such generous support to Bree and Daniel. Fans note that Jonas initially only extended support to Bree, rather than to both Bree and Daniel. Moreover, Jonas's profile initially said that he both became a member and posted his first video "one week ago." Because he only became a member and showed interest in Bree when she was on the run from [[the Order]], fans were suspicious that he may be connected with the Order. He is indeed connected to the Order through his family, who is divided in to supporters and detractors of the Order. How much Jonas actually knows about the Order and its countermovements is unknown, but it seems to be very little.

==Etymology of ''Jonas''==
There are two possible derivations of the name Jonas:

*Jonas is the Latin derivation of the Greek form (Ionas) of the Hebrew name Jonah (dove). It is widely presumed that Jonas's name is a reference to the [[Bible|Biblical]] Jonah, who was swallowed by a fish, because this would tie in to the story of his lost parents. For further discussion, also see the LGPedia article, [[Water Theme]]. Jonas is most widely used as a male name in German and Scandinavian cultures.

*Many fans who distrust Jonas have suggested that [[the Creators]] chose Jonas as a name because it sounds like Judas, the apostle who betrayed Jesus.

*Alternatively, Jonas is the Lithuanian variant of the English name ''John''. John is derived from the Hebrew Johanas, which means "God is great," and which is the name of Biblical characters John the Baptist, John the Apostle, and John the Evangelist.

*On YouTube and Revver, Jonas uses the name jonastko. The name is a reference to Jonas's boxing hobby. The letters T.K.O. are used in boxing as an abbreviation for "Technical Knock-Out."

* According to the video [[On The Road Again]], Jonas's last name could very well begin with a "W," due to the fact that his father used his initials to write, ''The Order in the Modern Empire''.

'''Daniel''' (a.k.a. danielbeast, Beast, Beasterrific, Beastie, Big D-Bone, Big D-Love, the D-Train, Wyatt Donnelly, Danny B., D.B.) is [[Bree]]'s best friend and later love interest, and the co-star of the Lonelygirl15 [[List of Lonelygirl15 videos|video series]]. He graduated high school in June 2006 and had a graduation party which Bree was not allowed to attend. Daniel urged Bree to rebel against her strict parents and is concerned about whatever religion and the ceremony she was involved in. Daniel apparently has two cameras. One is a webcam that shoots videos in the standard 4:3 format. The other is a mini-DV handheld that shoots videos in the 16:9 letterbox format. We have seen the webcam in a mirror in the video "What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?" and Jonas mentions receiving a tape from Daniel via Bree in the video "Your Decision." Interestingly, Jonas also appears to own both a 4:3 tethered webcam and a 16:9 handheld videocam.

Daniel dropped out of school at a junior college, where he was taking film classes, and left his job at [[Gas 'n Eats]] to accompany Bree [[The road trip|on the run]] from [[the Order]].

Daniel's parents do not have much influence on him, due at least in part to a history of alcoholism. Daniel appears to have a tendency to be affected by alcohol as well.

Recently, Daniel has shown a romantic interest in Jonas's Aunt [[Alex]].

==Etymology==
Daniel is a Biblical name from Hebrew (דניאל) meaning "God is my judge." This is the name of the prophet whose story is told in the [[Bible|Book of Daniel]]. One of the stories tells how the prophet Daniel saw visions of supernatural "beasts". These comparisons have been drawn by LG15 fans because Daniel's username on YouTube/Revver, as well as his nickname in the videos is 'Danielbeast'.
