After looking at it for a minute, he reaches up and apparently either blocks it or turns it off, because the screen shows only static. A siren then sounds, but when the camera comes back on, Daniel is gone.''

''The camera then cuts to shots, in "Order-vision", of a desert landscape with cactuses. In the distance, there is a large white car. The camera continues to pan over the scenery, obviously searching for something. It then zooms in on a trail of footprints in the sand.''

* At 1:04 a 2006 DateWorks calendar can be seen behind Bree. The month is August. This helped quell the belief that all of these videos had been pre-recorded and were being released over several weeks.
* Bree points out the canopy that she put up in the corner, it was added to the set to hide the air conditioner behind it.

'''Daniel''' a.k.a. '''danielbeast''' is [[Bree]]'s best friend and later love interest, and the co-star of the Lonelygirl15 [[List of Lonelygirl15 videos|video series]]. He graduated high school in June 2006 and had a graduation party which Bree was not allowed to attend. Daniel urged Bree to rebel against her strict parents and is concerned about whatever religion and the ceremony she was involved in. Like many of the fans, Daniel has also begun to investigate these mysterious things surrounding Bree and has taken to following her around and recording her actions, even after Bree has asked him not to do so via a video post. On both these occassions [[Lucy]] was taking Bree somewhere; once to a nearby park for what appeared to be a practice session for the upcoming ceremony and then a trip to a medical complex.

He is much more social than Bree, he has friends besides her and goes to parties, which he has coerced Bree into sneaking out to go to. Two of his other friends have been named, [[Paul]] and [[Andrea]].

Several of Daniel's videos have been made in [[Daniel's bedroom]].

Daniel has on one occasion broken into Lucy's apartment. He found on her computer pictures of himself. He became worried and posted a video on the subject. His worries have reflected onto Bree, causing her to question her [[Bree's religion|religion]].

Daniel apparently has two cameras. One is a webcam that shoots videos in the standard 4:3 format. The other is a mini-DV handheld that shoots videos in the 16:9 letterbox format. We have seen the webcam in a mirror in the video "What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?" and Jonas mentions receiving a tape from Daniel via Bree in the video "Your Decision." Interestingly, Jonas also appears to own both a 4:3 tethered webcam and a 16:9 handheld videocam.

Daniel dropped out of school at a junior college, where he was taking film classes, and left his job at [[Gas 'n Eats]] to accompany Bree [[The road trip|on the run]] from [[the Order]].

Daniel's parents do not have much influence on him, due at least in part to a history of alcoholism. Daniel appears to have a tendency to be affected by alcohol as well.

Recently, Daniel has shown a romantic interest in Jonas' Aunt [[Alex]].

==Etymology==
Daniel is a Biblical name from Hebrew (דניאל) meaning "God is my judge." This is the name of the prophet whose story is told in the [[Bible|Book of Daniel]]. One of the stories tells how the prophet Daniel saw visions of supernatural "beasts". These comparisons have been drawn by LG15 fans because Daniel's username on YouTube/Revver, as well as his nickname in the videos is 'Danielbeast'.

Jonas is a [[Revver]]/[[YouTube]] user who started leaving video comments on [[Bree]]'s videos and eventually became friends with Bree and [[Daniel]]. Most of his videos take place in what he says is his father's study.

Although an amount of money is never given, Jonas owns a large house, at least two vehicles, and appears to have been paying all of Bree's and Daniel's bills for several months. Jonas has also mentioned that he does not work and has no intention to. Prior to turning 18, he had a full-time nanny and attended a lot of psychotherapy. To support this lifestyle indefinitely, Jonas must have inherited at least several million dollars.

Jonas says that he has been too quick to trust people in the past. He has been taking advantage of for his money and mentions that once he stopped throwing giant parties, a lot of his friends stopped calling him. He is a lot like Gatsby.

Many fans have observed that Jonas is something of a lonelyboy. While Bree turned to books and stuffed animals, Jonas has turned to pop-culture and sports. Jonas makes constant references to movies and TV shows, often very obscure ones, and also enjoys extreme sports, boxing and foosball.

Jonas is a [[Revver]]/[[YouTube]] user who started leaving video comments on [[Bree]]'s videos and eventually became friends with Bree and [[Daniel]]. Most of his videos take place in what he says is his father's study.

Jonas is an orphan and lives alone in what was his parents' [[Jonas's house|house]].
