A [[LG15: Anchor Cove puzzles#I can't get away from lonelygirl15|puzzle]] discovered in the video [[I can't get away from lonelygirl15]] announced that something would occur at the Dark Delicacies bookstore in Burbank, California on August 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM local time.

==Claiming the Drop==

Almost immediately, they mentioned the code word "Rochambeau" to the cashier and were handed a taped {{wikipedia|Loot_Crate|Loot Crate}} box. As they were about to leave, the cashier mentioned "someone" being there, and angelique found [[Daniel]] hanging out nearby.

The three of them walked to a cafe nearby and proceeded to open the box. Inside were two manila envelopes, one marked "Daniel Barlow's Eyes Only -M", the other marked "Trust me now? -M". Daniel took the envelope marked for him as they looked through the other envelope. Daniel stayed for a few seconds before deciding to take his envelope back to [[Emma]] and asked for the contents to be posted online.

'''Adam Wilmott''' (not to be confused with [[Adam Lamar]]) was a character in the [[Maddison Avenue|Maddison Atkins ARG]], now known as Maddison Atkins Chapter 1. He was classmates with Maddison and was working on a class project with Maddison when Mr. Zipp first contacted Maddison through a carrier pigeon. In the video [[What Happened Today Part 2]], Adam was the one who first discovered the pigeon, [[HTMLvis]], outside of [[Maddison Atkins|Maddy's]] door, and found the note tied to the pigeon. He was very helpful in deciphering all of the clues Maddison received from the mysterious [[Mr. Zipp]]. He was a loyal friend, and promised Maddison that no matter what happened, he would be there for her. Adam’s desire to protect Maddison partly caused his own murder when Joel Frady killed Adam and Maddison outside of the house of Adam’s uncle.

Adam’s personality did a lot to help Maddison navigate the clues and handle the situation that had been given to her. Adam showed unbridled optimism at times and had a care free attitude that calmed Maddison when the messages from Mr. Zipp and other events would happen. Even though Adam exuberated a calm demeanor, he was determined to help Maddison solve the clues and find out what was going on. When the events leading up to their murders started in motion, Adam did what he could to protect Maddison, which sealed his fate as well.

Adam was dating a girl named [[Emily]], but the two broke up shortly before his [[No More|death]]. They had a dog named [[Whiskey]], but Emily kept him in the breakup. Before the breakup, Whiskey was seen by Adam’s side almost wherever Adam went.

Adam is an editor for the Pine Log, the SFASU's school newspaper. [[Clara Stokes|Clara]] interviews him first for her thesis project. In [[Adam Lamar, Pine Log Editor]], Adam admits that he didn't write any stories about [[Maddison Atkins|Maddison]]'s and Adam's deaths largely because nothing official came out until after the end of the school year.

Adam accompanies Clara as she interviews [[Cynthia Frady]]. After the interview, Clara explains the recent online drops and puzzles to Adam in the [[Missing Tapes]] video. He agrees to act as her bodyguard/driver and accompanies her for the next few videos, such as interviewing [[Duke Johnson]] and checking out the Bible school in Rusk, Texas ([[677 Dickinson Rusk]]).

Adam is skeptical about the online conspiracy surrounding Maddison's death and the mysterious messages sent to Clara, and believes that the case is closed and [[Joel Frady]] is the rightfully accused killer. He thus starts having second thoughts about being Clara's bodyguard in the [[Text and Voice Messages]] video, when Clara receives a voicemail from Frady that the online community decodes as a message to meet with Frady.

Adam goes with Clara to Margil Park in Nacogdoches to meet with Frady, but [[Joel is Dead|find him dead]]. Adam calls the police. After being questioned by the police overnight, Adam agrees to let Clara stay at his place for the next few days. Later, in [[Near the murder scene]], Adam goes with Clara to visit the site of Joel's death. While Adam is seemingly unaffected, Clara is noticeably distraught, despite Adam's attempts at humor.

Later, [[Marla]] came down to Nacogdoches and stayed with Adam Lamar. During that time, Adam hatched a plan to switch Clara's project with a documentary of XO in [[Adam Lamar's Pitch]]. This was Adam's attempt to help Clara graduate after work on the Maddison Atkins thesis stalled due to Clara's depression. While [[Clara Stokes|Clara]] was hesitant, she went along with the plan. However, Clara did not do much work on it, and missed the December 2007 graduation date.

Mr Zipp says that he is at the mercy of a powerful organization which greatly restricts his interactions with his only child.

His messages to Maddison are always encrypted, which he believes will confuse the enemy. He encouraged Maddison must get help from the general public to solve the messages he sent her (by means of [[HTMLvis|pigeons]] and [[Maddison Avenue|drops]]).

There is speculation as to just whose father Mr. Zipp is. From his [[Immerse Myself|communications with Maddison]], he sounds most like [[Drew Avery|Bree's father]]. However, Bree's father is assumed to be dead. Some speculate that he may be [[The Whartons|Raymond Wharton]], Jonas's father. Others think he may be Maddison's father himself. After chapter 2 came out, it was also speculated that Joel Frady may also be Mr. Zipp. Other theories include the thought that Maddison was adopted and Zipp was her biological father.

In her 3rd vid, Maddison logs into the email account (which she did, in fact, know the password for) and finds this email.

Marla has since obtained Maddison's personal journals, and in spite of saying she did not feel comfortable sharing the information she received, she has been leaking the information via a series of [[Marla's Puzzle|puzzles]] she devised.

Marla's boyfriend [[Andrew]] appeared in several videos with her. Since her move to Nacogdoches, it seems that the two have decided to end things, and Marla says that she is now single. She later [[For a boy|goes into details]] about what happened between them, explaining that he had been exerting an influence over her life (and travel plans), though she now doesn't know why she let him.

Marla discusses her situation in her life with Skunkwaffle and [[Mike Frankson|Micfranxon]], who convince her to move to Nacogdoches so that she can relax and also keep an eye on Clara. Later on, we see Marla appear in one of Adam Lamar's videos, confirming that she has indeed moved down there.

Marla gets drafted to be a production assistant in Adam Lamar's plan to do an XO documentary and turn that into Clara's thesis project. Marla then apologizes to Gregory Atkins for the delay in Maddison's story and promises to take it up herself once she helps Clara graduate. About a month later, Marla helps Adam Lamar clean up his house and pack for Adam's move to Las Vegas.

After a long absence, Marla speaks of a letter she received about contacting Dr. Arscott, and says she needs to think about it. She later gives reasons as to why the Maddison investigation has not been her focus, and why she has not been able to help. Marla then shows her increasing frustrations with her friends, who at this point had gotten impatient over her slow progression on the investigation. Soon after this, [[Gregory Atkins|Gregory]] contacts Marla and invites her for coffee so that he can talk to her, and Marla accepts the invitation.

During the meeting, Gregory becomes very impatient upon learning that little progress has been made since the Storyteller contest back in November. Marla becomes very defensive, and reluctantly admits that she hasn't seen Clara for a while. Gregory makes her promise that she'll devote her time to finishing the Documentary.

A week later, The [[To Dr. Arscott (from the community)|video to Dr. Arscott]] was posted on the [[Maddison Atkins|maddisonatkins]] account, and Marla explained that the community had to be patient and allow him time to see it.

It was around this time that Marla broke her promise to Greg and left to take an annual class in Hawaii. Upon her return, she discovered Greg moving Maddison's stuff out of her apartment so he can rent it out. Though annoyed, he agrees to Marla's request that she can stay in Maddison's Apartment until the sale at the end of April.

The event was a so-called "wake-up call" for Marla, who realized how little she had accomplished during her time in Nacogdoches. She then started a stake-out outside Clara's house, blasting annoying music, hoping to get her to come out so she could get the information relating to the documentary from her.

'''Clara Stokes''' is a character in the [[Maddison Avenue|Maddison Atkins ARG]]. She lives in East Texas, where she works at a local Chile's. Her favorite soda is Dr. Pepper.

Clara is a cinematography student at Stephen F. Austin doing a thesis for school. She intended to investigate the effects of [[Maddison Atkins]] and [[Adam Wilmott]]'s deaths on the community, as well as its effects on the online community Maddison had brought together in the weeks before her death.

The description from Clara's first YouTube video called [[Thesis Statement]] reads:

Unfortunately Clara got sucked into a lot more than she ever imagined. A self-described lazy student who hates to read, Clara thought the thesis would be a breeze. It was not due to some of the interesting people along the way who she interviewed. Clara also had truly abysmal interviewing skills causing [[Gregory Atkins|Mr. Atkins]] to be very angry with her.

Things became more heated when [[15over15]] text messaged Clara and Joel Frady left a voicemail on his [[Cynthia Frady (character)|wife's]] answering machine. After a run in with a dead Frady, Clara did not know how to cope and spent many nights drunk in chat, talking what seemed to be nonsense.

Clara also met up with Maddisons father again. He seemed glad that Frady was dead and offered to help Clara out with her project financially. Shortly after this, contact is lost with Clara.

A concerned community member, [[Marla]] comes down to visit Clara. Clara is still unmotivated at this point to continue the thesis, and she talks with Marla about vivid nightmares she has when she does anything with the thesis.

Months later, Clara did release other videos consisting of old footage, but had not been released by Clara. She then posts a video talking about the storyteller video challenge and her desire to enter the contest. This resulted in the [[Storyteller]] video.

Adam Lamar tried to help Clara by giving her another project to work on, a documentary of XO. An interview was done, but it has not been edited by Clara or released to date.

A few months later, while having Coffee with Gregory Atkins, Marla reveals that she hasn't seen Clara for sometime, and that she hasn't been returning her phone calls. She also expresses concern over her mental state, and seems to indicate that Clara was affected by Frady's death more than was previously thought.

Finally, In early April, Marla stakes out outside Clara's house, blasting bad music for hours, coaxing her to come out. Clara comes out and smashes the boom box and goes back inside. Marla follows her in, and Clara gives her all of the information relating to Maddison and the Documentary.

With nowhere to go to, she turned to the community for help with Zipp's coded messages which, unfortunately, wasn't enough.

Maddison and Adam were found by the former [[OpAphid]] agent: [[War Pylol]] and after their attempt to flee, were shot to their deaths by a man named [[Joel Frady (character)|Joel Frady]]. The summer after her death Maddison's former classmate, [[Clara Stokes]] is assigned to do a thesis on the murder and events surrounding it. Clara spent months interviewing family members of Maddison and her murderer. When the conspiracy behind Maddison's death hits too close to home, Clara sinks into a depression and abandons the project. When things look their bleakest, community member "[[Marla|MarlaSinger]]" moves to Nacogdoches and vows to bring light to the tragic deaths and finish the documentary for the sake of the memory of Adam Wilmott and Maddison Atkins. However, the outside world intervened and pushed her away from the small town. With a heavy heart Marla had no choice but to move on with her life.

The '''Maddison Atkins ARG''' is a popular [[Alternate Reality Game]] produced by [[Jeromy Barber]] of 12th Street House. It takes place within the [[LG15 Franchise|LG15 Universe]]. Currently, the game has had two incarnations, both of which follow the story of a girl named Maddison Atkins.

The first incarnation of the show followed the story of a girl named Maddison Atkins and her friend Adam Wilmott. They were sent a letter by a mysterious Mr. Zipp and within fifteen days, tracked and killed by Joel Frady. During the second chapter of the story, Clara Stokes and Adam Lamar investigated the murders and interviewed people connected to the story. During the third chapter of the show, Gregory Atkins and Marla took over the story, as Clara became a drunk. This version of the show was a sister series to and had crossovers with [[Redearth88]], which was produced by former [[lonelygirl15]] crew member, [[Glenn Rubenstein]].

More recently, the second incarnation of the show currently follows the same girl named Maddison Atkins. She is partnered with Adam for video projects and becomes friends with him, but their summer video projects for college are the least of their worries when a box of pigeons is left on Maddison's doorstep. Trying to balance school and life, Maddison and Adam grow closer as they work to solve the mystery with help from the online community.

To say it was ten girls and, you know, to blow it all out of proportion; we got run outta town over it is, to tell the truth, is kinda crazy, I mean.

I definitely hate that it had to happen at one of MY shows, but my show is not... any time it happens to anybody is not good. But I keep in touch with them.

In the rustic burg of Nacogdoches Texas, a young woman named '''[[Maddison Atkins]]''' studies to become a communications major, Maddison's life takes a drastic change when she and her project partner [[Adam|Adam Wilmott]] discover a [[HTMLvis|carrier pigeon]] in front of her apartment. Attached to the pigeon was a desperate plea for help from a mysterious person known only as [[Mr. Zipp]], to save the life of his only child. Maddison was given 15 days before the forces that kept Zipp away from his child would track Maddison down and eliminate her and Zipp himself. With nowhere to go to, she turned to the community for help with Zipp's coded messages which, unfortunately, wasn't enough.

Maddison and Adam were found by the former [[OpAphid]] agent: [[War Pylol]] and after their attempt to flee, were shot to their deaths by a man named [[Joel Frady (character)|Joel Frady]]. The summer after her death Maddison's former classmate, [[Clara Stokes]] is assigned to do a thesis on the murder and events surrounding it. Clara spent months interviewing family members of Maddison and her murderer. When the conspiracy behind Maddison's death hits too close to home, Clara sinks into a depression and abandons the project. When things look their bleakest, community member "[[Marla|MarlaSinger]]" moves to Nacogdoches and vows to bring light to the tragic deaths and finish the documentary for the sake of the memory of Adam Wilmott and Maddison Atkins. However, the outside world intervened and pushed her away from the small town. With a heavy heart Marla had no choice but to move on with her life.
