In the search box, you can type "Category:Images", then pick from the subcategories to narrow down your search. Eventually you get a page that displays a bunch of images, and you can see there if you found what you were looking for. Another way to go about it is to type a keyword into the search box, then click '''search''' (not '''go'''). If you hit "Enter" if will assume you clicked '''go'''. When the search results screen comes up, look at the checkboxes at the bottom. Check "Images" and "Image talk" so that it searches the image names and descriptions. This approach works less well, in my opinion. This is probably because most images are ambiguously-named and have almost no description.
