Transcript
(Close-up shot of Kate's face. She is in the dark.)
Kate: (in a whisper) Hi, how are you? (looks away from the camera) You know when you let a really good movie get into your head? Well, Disturbia scared the hell out of me. It was a really cool movie, but I think I let a little bit too much of it get into my head. (looks away from the camera a second time)
(Kate opens window to show a black van parked outside the building. A bald man is talking on his mobile phone.)
Kate: Who sits in a van taking pictures all night? (The man enters the van and takes a picture of Kate's window.) He was there last night too. He's scaring me. (closes the window)
(Close-up shot of Kate's face.)
Kate: Tell me I'm not imagining that. (sighs) I know I've got that film in my head, but... (looks scared in direction of the window) that outside is really creepy. Maybe there's someone famous living upstairs, and he's a paparazzi waiting to take their picture... Or maybe he's an indiscreet spy. Or he's an average garden variety pervert spying on his ex-girlfriend. (in a whisper) Or maybe he's been sent by the specialist to send me a message. Not much of a message. (Shot of black van parked outside.) Say goodnight to all your friends on the internet whoever you are. (Kate closes and locks her window)
Notes
- This marks the first noticeable appearance of a Watcher in KateModern. According to Alex, Watchers make up a 20-member team whose only mission is to protect trait positive girls, like Kate, Emma, and Bree.
- The van that the watcher sits in has its steering wheel on the left side of the van, not the proper right side it should be on.
- If this man is a Watcher, it is odd that he is taking pictures as no other watchers from any other videos have done so.
