In the December issue of Wired Magazine a feature article called The Secret World of Lonelygirl was published.

There were a number of revelations in the article regarding Mesh Flinders, Miles Beckett, Amanda Goodfried and Jessica Lee Rose.

The article also states that "The room behind her could be anywhere in America – there's a pink floral-print bedspread, a half-dozen stuffed animals, and a framed picture of a rose on the wall". According to Wikipedia Crowley is credited with creating both designs of the unicursal hexagram by some historians. "But many believe that he amended the original and placed a five petaled rose in the center.""

It is also possible that the rose is a play on the name of Jessica Rose or simply a decoration that might appear in the bedroom of a teenage girl.
