Steve <Bebo:SteveBelieves> is a mysterious friend of Kate's who she met at the library while searching for information on memory loss. Steve claims to suffer from a similar ailment, and offers to help Kate get her memory back. However, both Charlie and Tariq think that Steve is a creep and try to keep Kate away from him.
At Charlie's party, Tariq goes through Steve's bag and finds a Hymn of One pamphlet. Later, under interrogation, Steve admits to being a member of the Hymn of One and having lied about having amnesia, though he claims to only want to help protect Kate.
