Transcript
(Gavin is walking down a street.)
Gavin: I've got to find Charlie and tell her how I feel. I just hope I'm not too late.
(Gavin goes inside the hotel and explores the lobby.)
Gavin: No sign of Charlie here. No sign at all.
(He walks into the bar and looks around some more.)
Gavin: Well, it looks like she got lucky. Wow. Time for a swift draft as a consolation prize. And back to delete that last video I posted. It's enough, forget I said that.
(He eats a nut, then picks up another nut and smells it before eating it. He takes a sip of his beer. Then, he looks up and sees Charlie sitting alone at a table. He approaches her, and puts a hand on her shoulder.)
Charlie: Don't you creepy guys ever get the message? I'm not a hooker... (trails off as she looks up and sees Gavin.) What are you doing here?
Gavin: I was just... passing through.
(Gavin sets the camera up at an adjacent table. He then slides into the booth, and Charlie slides next to him, wearing his jacket.)
Charlie: How could I have been so stupid? I really thought I was gonna bump into him.
Gavin: Shia La-whatshisface.
Charlie: Shia LaBeouf. It doesn't matter now anyways. He's taken an early flight home and I've been sitting here all night like an idiot, trying to fend off creepy guys. I feel so stupid. I got dressed up and everything. (Takes off Gavin's jacket.) I'm sorry Gavin, you probably don't want to be hearing this anyways. I must look like shit.
Gavin: No, you look lovely.
Charlie: I'm really glad you came.
Gavin: Yeah, me too. You know what, I'm glad he didn't show up. Look, I came down here because I was hoping... you would be... um, because I just wanted to tell you that... (laughs nervously.) I wanted... I think you're great.
Charlie: I really like you too, you cheese ball.
(Cuts to Gavin and Charlie outside.)
Gavin: Let's go and get chips.
Charlie: Cool.
Gavin: Mushed peas or gravy? Gravy, I think.
Charlie: Whatever goes best with a sandwich, Gav.
(They laugh and kiss.)
