The Hymn of None is a new resistance movement that began to gain traction in August of 2008. The ones behind the organization have been alluded to be Jonas and Sarah, having taken their movements underground after The Hymn of One failed to make Jonas ascend to Elder status. Sarah has since hinted that she has nothing to do with the organization in a recent blog posting, commenting on the Hymn of None.

Call to Action

In the video the resistance, the following message was heard regarding the resistance:

Control has been stolen from their hands. The sun has risen once more. The journey has begun and the fight is far from over. It is our turn. Our turn to monitor them, to control them, to manipulate the power they wield and turn it against them. Our numbers are growing strong. Our reach gradually expanding. Our grasp tightening. We are everywhere. We are waiting. We are watching. We have found our leader and he has found his first disciple. They don't know it yet, but soon, we will combat our collective enemies head on. We are the resistance. We will not be stopped.

Website Hacks

On August 6th, 2008, The Hymn of None hacked the campaign website of Edward Salinas, a politician who had used his position to try to gain status within the Order, but was ultimately extinguished by Lucy. The website was vandalized, and an X was drawn over Salina's photograph in the site design. The contents of the homepage was replaced by the following message:

Shortly prior to this, the Hymn of One released a statement regarding this organization's activities, suggesting that they will take legal action against those who are threatening them and ruining their image.

On August 29th, 2008, The Hymn Of None hacked the Hymn Of One web site as well as the lonelygirl15 youtube account. In Both instances, the background were changed to a pattern of the Hymn of One Logo, and everything else about the sites reamined intact, including the letter written by the Hymn of One bashing the Resistance.

On September 9, 2008 The Hymn of None hacked Sophie's bebo page. This was a first, in that it ties the resistance to KateModern as well as lonelygirl15.
