Transcript

(Bree, holding the camera, walks through an alleyway, passing terra cotta suns and plants. Upon reaching a door, she reaches out and knocks. Alex opens the door.)

Bree: I want to talk to you.

Alex: Of course. (She lets Bree in the door and leads her to the living room, where she sits down on a green couch, looking uncomfortable.) I need you to know that I didn't have--

Bree: Shut up!

Alex: Okay.

Bree: Who was that man that you sent after us?

Alex: He wasn't... I didn't... (She shakes her head.)

Bree: People are saying that he, he takes some kind of drugs that make him smarter? Or, or stronger than us? He doesn't have to sleep as much as we do. Don't say that you didn't know anything about that. Do you know what he did to us?

Alex: I just found out, and I'm sorry.

Bree: He drugged us! He drugged us. Do you--

Alex: I know, and I'm sorry, but you have to know the Order had nothing to do with that, he was operating under a differ--

Bree: Shut up! Shut up.

Alex: It's true though, we would never do anything like that to you, you have to do the Ceremony on your own--

Bree: Daniel! I can't do this anymore, just come here.

(Daniel walks into the house through the back door. Alex looks at him, then at Bree in disbelief. She tries to say, "What?" but no sound comes out.)

Alex: How did... how did you--

Daniel: Just stop. Uhd, just stop. How could you do that? And I'm not even talking about... I'm not even talking about what, what you did to me personally... the fact that you even used me in the beginning is just hard enough. You made me feel like a complete waste of time, like, like I'm a nobody. And I swore to God that we... whatever, I didn't even know you that long, it's fine.

Alex: Daniel, I'm sorry.

Daniel: No, you're not. That's the problem.

Alex: Yes I--

Daniel: You used me last time, how am I supposed to believe you now?

Alex: I am sorry!

Daniel: You put us in danger, you-- (everyone begins yelling at once) the fact that I'm even in here!

Alex: You don't--

Daniel: (more quietly) I'm sorry.

Alex: You don't understand what it's like for me, okay?
