Hi Merryprankster- Nice job on the summary![[User:Ogog]] 23 November 200 (10:11 EST)

The problem arises because being a wiki its edited by a lot of people and hence contributions belong to the community. Currently LGpedia is run to "Wikipedia standards" so they don't really allow for personal credit.  Now if you had written it all on a personal blog and and copyrighted it (which just requires putting a simple copyright notice) then you could have quoted yourself and given yourself credit.......but that does prevent anyone else from editing that section (since its a direct quotation}.  You can try contacting the LGpedia admins ([http://www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=LGpedia]).  Given that they had a hard time getting anyone to write anything good they might throw you a bone.  You can also post your opinion on the Talk page which on the menu at the top of the article page.  Good luck and once again, great work.

The problem arises because being a wiki its edited by a lot of people and hence contributions belong to the community. Currently LGpedia is run to "Wikipedia standards" so they don't really allow for personal credit. Now if you had written it all on a personal blog (eg blogger.com) and and copyrighted it (which just requires putting a simple copyright notice) then you could have quoted yourself and given yourself credit.......but that does prevent anyone else from editing that section (since its a direct quotation}. You can try contacting the LGpedia admins ([1]). Given that they had a hard time getting anyone to write anything good they might throw you a bone. You can also post your opinion on the Talk page which on the menu at the top of the article page. Good luck and once again, great work.--modelmotion 08:05, 24 November 2006 (CST)
