Transcript

(Charlie is sitting in her office.)

Charlie: I can't believe what a mess I've gotten myself into. I tried so hard to help Kate with her crazy problems that I've landed myself in a big pile of doodoo.

(Charlie does an MSN search for "rooms in London to let.")

Charlie: Now I'm actually homeless, I've got no idea where I'm going to live. All I've heard from Kate is that stupid video she posted. I've watched it over and over and over again, and I just can't make any sense of what she's trying to say. Some of my Bebo friends have sent me messages and they think Kate's trying to tell me that she's a part of the Order, but I don't know. I don't think she's left the country. There was nothing vaguely American about that video. Kate, if you're out there, please, send me a message. I want to meet you. This is so important.

(Gary walks over to Charlie.)

Gary: Um, you ready for today?

Charlie: Yep, sure am! (Gary leaves.) Back in the real world, I'm in even more trouble here at work. I took a day off last week to shoot this viral ad, and I came back with nothing! I've got one last chance. I've got to shoot this video diary thing for a shoot we're doing on Thursday for Pantene. And if I don't get this done, I'm finished! I'm going to have to sell my camera for food, there's going to be no more blogging, I'm going to be reduced to the status of a bum!

(Gavin walks up.)

Gavin: Did you just say "bum"?

Charlie: Hey, what are you doing here?

Gavin: I told them I was a delivery boy.

Charlie: You're going to get me in so much trouble, you can't be here!

Gavin: No, it's okay, come with me.

Charlie: No... I'm working! I've gotta finish... I've gotta work late on the Pantene job!

Gavin: It's okay, come with me. I've got a suprise.

Charlie: No, I can't, Gav. (Gavin begins dragging her.) Gav! Gav! I can't!

(Cuts to the two of them walking in Charlie's old neighborhood.)

Charlie: Gav, why are you taking me back here? I've been evicted.

Gavin: Well, actually, I've just rented a new flat here.

Charlie: Are you trying to be funny? Because, if you are, it's not.

Gavin: No. Actually, I've rented someplace for us both. To live together.

Charlie: What?

Gavin: (kisses her head) C'mon.

(Gavin uses a key to open the door to what used to be Kate and Charlie's flat, but is now his and Charlie's flat.)

Gavin: Madam.

(Charlie looks around skeptically.)

Gavin: (laughs) Yep! I am your new flatmate!

Charlie: Oh my God.

Gavin: Yeah! (He hugs her.) I'll get the mover men.

(Tariq and Lee walk in carrying boxes.)

Tariq: Oh, you're here at last. Gav, get back to the office and shoot the video.

Gavin: What?

Tariq: Our corporate video, Gavin. We need to be shooting it now. Let's do it now and get Lee to hold the camera.

Lee: Yeah, and the editing, and all the graphics.

Gavin: Yeah, actually, you're right. I'd better get back to the grind. C'mon Lee, hurry up. Get rid of that. We need to get back to the office. You can get the kettle on. C'mon. Chop chop! (He walks over to Charlie, who has found a picture of Kate.) Um, see ya later babe.

Charlie: Yeah, bye.

Tariq: C'mon Gav.
