Nikki and the box.
In her video What I Found at Topanga Canyon - NBR 2, she finds a small box near the site of The Ceremony with the symbol of The Watchers containing a lock of blond hair. This video was posted on November 5th, ten days before Gemma's video A Watcher.
The production value of this videos suggests it might be an official character. In her first video, Nikki displays the URL of the forum, which may point to her being official. Why wouldn't she have just said "the forum" unless she was trying to get more visitors? (Though it could be she's just very thorough.) Also, she's a very likeable and entertaining character.
In her video Watchers Everywhere - NBR4, Nikki reads from a copy of Nancy Drew's Guide to Life, a book that was found in a Tachyon drop. "Don't discount faint lines or indecypherable blotches on discarded pieces of paper. A magnifying glass might reveal them to be very small words."
