Overhaul

Nice work, Jay! It's a lot clearer and more "introductory" now, if that even makes sense. Some of the info though, like how to make a template and stuff like that, might actually be useful. Maybe we could break up the Editing sections into "Basic" and "Advanced" or something like that? Right now the "meta" pages are all kind of disjointed. I may be partially to blame for trying to incorporate Cite.php instructions. OwenIsCool 14:06, 1 February 2007 (CST)

Yeah, I agree. I want to better integrate all those meta-pages too. I should start by coming up with a list of what pages we need to integrate. Also agree that how to create templates and stuff is useful information to include somewhere, but not here.--JayHenry 14:54, 1 February 2007 (CST)

Chicken Page

Ok guys, I’m just putting this out there so try to keep the flack to a minimum (LG422, brucker, OwenIsCool etc!) Can we please have a "Chicken Page" like they have on wikipedia? If you are not familiar with the concept it goes something like this:

Everyone knows about chickens right? well then why not let all the trolls, haters and vandals hang out there and do their damage to that page and leave the rest of LGPedia alone and safe?

Now obviously it is going to have to be a page of moderate importance otherwise you ain’t going to get people going to it. And yes, it can be reset to the standard page every once in a while so that the fun can start again. Why don’t one of the over-eager admin's pick the page? Please add your suggestions or comments below. Or if you are all pent up with aggression, why not delete my comment, say I’m a vandal/troll, while acting like a vandal/hater yourself........

I think a chicken page is an excellent idea in theory. The question is how exactly do we implement it. As it stands now..the current chicken page would be a person's User page. I don't think it has enough importance to get most people excited and invested. So what page could we do this with and how do we direct them there. --LordGreystoke422 13:00, 8 February 2007 (CST)
