Sam Donovan is the actor who plays Lee, Tariq and Gavin's new "work experience boy", in the web series KateModern.

After receiving a BA Hons in English and Psychology from the University of Liverpool, Sam went on to study acting at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London for three years. He has worked in a variety of mediums, including TV and film. His recent television appearances were on "The Bill," "Brookside," "Waking The Dead," and "What Makes Us Human?" for Tiger Aspect. His recent theater credits include "Billy The Kid" at the Unicorn Theatre in London, a national tour of "Walking on Water," and regular appearances for rehearsed readings at the Globe Theatre in London. Sam has also done a bit of directing, most recently for "Our Boys" at the Pleasance Theatre in London, which received critical acclaim.

Sam has also worked as a drama teacher for over ten years with the Performers Theatre School. Teaching the LAMDA Speech and Drama syllabus, Sam instructs individuals or small groups in their own homes on weekday evenings or on the weekends. He is also involved in running one of the LAMDA Public Centres.
