Talk:Hieroglyphics
I nominated this page for merge with Denderah a few days back. Today I noticed that hieroglyphs are apparently an important part of the Cassieiswatching game. Now, I know very little about this creepy cassie stuff... but if anyone knows more about it, we need your help. Perhaps this article could be rewritten to tie together the hieroglyph information from cassieiswatching. In any case, it seems to me like perhaps it's less related to Denderah and more to cassie... so maybe that merge wouldn't really make sense. Any thoughts, anyone? RE: OpAphid/Cassie
Hi, OpAphid's first puzzle incorporated the declarations of purity which is an Egyptian concept and were put in order using Hieroglyphic fractions. I'm not all that up on Cassie but I do not recall her using any.

Ok, so come to think of it, there isn't really much information here worth merging with anything. Bree never even mentions learning to read hieroglyphs for the ceremony or anything. A picture of Lonelygirl15 spelled in hieroglyphs, courtesy of a free online tool, is amusing, but not very good encyclopedic content. OwenIsCool 01:07, 14 January 2007 (CST)
- Do we want to delete this, or should we just merge this into an OpAphid page. I think some of the Op puzzles did use heiroglyphics.--JayHenry 22:21, 14 January 2007 (CST)
- Yeah, I had thought about that, and I asked TigerLilyLynn abt it (her response is under Re:OpAphid/Cassie). Like the Jimmy Page article, perhaps it's relevant in a different context (Op/Cassie), and not really under Bree's religion. I'd support a rewrite in that case, but I would have no idea how to do it since I don't follow the Op stuff very much. OwenIsCool 14:21, 15 January 2007 (CST)
I don't think we should delete it - Gemma mentioned in "Learning Egyptian" that her father studied Ancient Egyptian. I think its fair to say that Hieroglyphics could be important. (from onetruegnome).
