Gene Foad is the actor who played the role of Dr. William Griffin in the webseries KateModern.

After graduating from 'The Guildhall', Gene took the title role in the YTV series, Dickens of London. He has had many other leading screen roles, including parts in The Lake, Rooftop, Penmarric, November Man, Love of a Good Man, Hannibal-Captured on Film and the popular Ch4 soap, Brookside.

His stage leads include "Macbeth", "Richard III", "Bosola in Duchess of Malfi," and "Marchbanks in Candida". He was the resident director for DCA's Middle Eastern Tours, has recorded over 150 audio books and directed over 70 productions.

Gene is probably most famous for his role as a hologram in Starhyke.
