On Sunday, June 1st, 2008, the Lonelygirl15 production team announced that a multiple video special mid - season event would occur on June 6th, 2008 - preceded by a videoless week in which TAAG supposedly went offline.

Grab your rubik’s cube, put on your acid wash jeans, and get ready to do the running man! Join us for an all day event on Friday, June 6, as we experience a prom like you’ve never seen before.

There will be multiple videos, character interaction, and for one, this will be their last dance.

This announcement comes on the heels of an official post in which the creators stated that they would be taking one week off from posting videos to focus on a special that was soon to come!
