Kate: A names a funny thing. Shakespeare said What's in a name, that which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet. (Cuts to an image of a rose then Kate writing rose in her bathroom mirror with lipstick in the dark then back to Kate.) I don't agree. Names, words, are powerful things .I mean they actually shape who you are. Charlie is definitely a Charlie, I mean can you imagine if she was called Mildred or Phillis. I'm Kate. I feel different, people treat me differently and all I did was change my name. (Kate is now typig on her laptop while she talks). A name is a label but it doesn't completely define the object it describes.
