Transcript
(Shot of a large poster of Jamie Bell "sitting" in Gavin's chair at the office.
Gavin: (behind the Jamie poster) Hello, I'm Jamie Bell. You may remember me from such films as Billy Elliot and Hallam Foe! Right? But today I'm here to talk about another leading man, my best mate Gavin aka DeepGoat3000, the hero of the hour.
(Gavin steps out from behind the poster)
Gavin: Well thanks very much, Jamie, you're too kind. Yes folks, in case you missed it, last week yours truly managed to save Tariq's girlfriend, (air quotes) Crazy Kate from being (air quotes) Ceremonied by (air quotes) Creepy Steve, without letting a little thing like a Russian deadbolt stand in me way.
(Shot from Trait Positive, with the word "Hero" flashing in red in the corner of the screen.)
Gavin: Look, Tariq, if you're watching this, um, something's really wrong.
(Back to Gavin at his desk.)
Gavin: And, even more excitingly, I even managed to get the girl. (He tries to lean back in his chair suavely, but ends up falling backwards. He rights the chair and sits back down.) No, seriously, um, who would have though I would have enjoyed being locked up with a woman all weekend?
(Shots of Charlie and Gavin from I have to go, Creep or unique?, Dizzy Rascals and Salt or sweet?, starting with Charlie saying "I have to go.")
Gavin: I don't know if it's because she was Australian or whatever, but, I don't know, she was just really good fun. So uh, yeah, after all the excitement of being trapped in here most of the weekend, I thought I deserved a night out. (Gavin is standing next to the Jamie Bell poster.) I went to see, uh, I went to see that film Hallam Foe last night, it's pretty good, actually, and, uh, when I came out into the lobby, Jamie was just, you know, hanging around, so we got talking and I decided to liberate him.
Gavin: (back in the chair) So Charlie, if you are watching, maybe I could take you to see Hallam Foe? Um, it's Orange Wednesday, and promise I'll leave Jamie at home.
(There is a knock on the door. Gavin leaps out of his chair and grabs a golf club. He opens the door carefully and looks ready to strike.)
Tariq: Whoa! What are you doing?! Who are you expecting, mate?
Gavin: Sorry, man. Sorry. (He hits the desklight with the golf club by accident and resets it.)
Tariq: Jesus. What's with all the paranoia? What have you got a golf club in the office anyway? (He grabs the club away from Gavin.)
Gavin: You never know, these days, do ya. I just... how's Kate, anyway?
Tariq: A little bit off. I still don't know if she's coming or going. (looks at the club again) Is this about the note?
Gavin mumbles: I don't know what you mean.
Tariq: I think you've got some explaining to do.
(Gavin looks embarrased and then shuts off the camera with a remote.)
