Transcript
(The camera pans over an unconscious Maggie. Sarah plays with Maggie's hair.)
Sarah: Wittle Maggie's hurt. Wake up, wittle Maggie. (Lifts Maggie's chin.) Wake up. Wake up!
Maggie: What're-- What's going on?
Sarah: Shh. It's okay. I'm here now.
Maggie: Where am I? What did you do to Jonas?
Sarah: Oh, he's fine. They won't kill him. They won't kill you, either. 'Cause we need both of you alive.
Maggie: What are you talking about?
Sarah: See, you're a pure-blood trait positive, right? I mean, Dr. Alderman figured that out for us. And Jonas? Well, it turns out that's the reason the Order was chasing his family so hard. Turns out he's got the trait positive gene running through his weepy little heart as well. The first trait positive male in a milenia. I told him he was the one.
Maggie: H-- You mean that?
Sarah: Yep. Now we're gonna have you and your little boyfriend mate. Create a whole new crop of trait positive girls. (Lowers the camera to lean over Maggie and get into the shot.) Now, tell me, doesn't that sound like fun? I never liked you. In fact, I voted we bleed you dry. They just kept saying that we need you around for... whatever reasons. (Maggie spits on Sarah's cheek. Sarah smirks and wipes it off.) That was uncalled for.
(Sarah gets up and kicks Maggie, who coughs up blood. Cut to Lucy walking into a room, where Jonas is hung from the ceiling. Lucy circles him. Jonas coughs and Lucy lifts up his head. She smiles and leaves.)
Sarah: How cool was that?
(Sarah finds a metal pipe lying against a wall and grabs it. She sets the camera on the floor and walks over to Jonas. She runs the pipe along his chest.)
Sarah: You look tired. That's unfortunate.
(Sarah beats Jonas repeatedly with the pipe.)
Sarah: (Sighs.) I always liked you. (Admires his stomach.) You're so pretty.
(Sarah swings at Jonas's chest again. Cut to Sarah picking up the camera. She lifts it to her face and backs toward Jonas.)
Sarah: I just thought I'd take this moment to tell Daniel, Reed, really, anyone else, if you try to come for them, we will kill you. They're dead to you now. Both of them. And Daniel, really? Posting an "I told you so" video? How pathetic. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an ascension to go to. (Waves at Jonas.) Toodles. (Walks out of the room.)
