Transcript

(Daniel is driving. The camera is pointed at him.)

Daniel: So, anyway, when I woke up this morning, Bree was still asleep and, umm, I decided to do something to cheer her up. (Passing scenery is seen, as Save Me by The Napoleon Blown Aparts is heard) Bree was pretty down last night. She cried a lot... yelled at me a bit, but, I don't think she even slept too well. It's understandable. She, well, both of us are really worried about her parents. (Daniel is walking and carrying the camera through a supermarket.) Maybe we can find some nice oranges and bananas and nice stuff like that. That'd be cool. I don't know how much money I have to get all this stuff. She might like some cereal. Let's see if we can find something here. Variety pack, that'll work. Oranges, ah, here we go. She loves oranges, so let's-- (We're now in the motel room. The camera is a close-up of Daniel's face. He's whispering.) After almost a week of living on the road, I've got motel dining down to a science. (The camera down moves to the table, which has a bunch of food on it. Daniel sets the camera down, and sped-up footage of him preparing breakfast is seen, while Save Me by The Napoleon Blown Aparts plays. The camera sees a plate of banana slices, cereal, yogurt and orange slices.) Looks pretty good. It's only missing one thing. (Daniel puts a small flower vase on the table, and straightens the plate. Daniel walks the camera over to Bree, who is cuddling Thor, and wakes her up. Daniel whispers to Bree.) Come here, I've got something for you. (Bree is seen eating breakfast. She laughs.)

Bree: Thank you for the breakfast.

Daniel: No problem.

Bree: You know, no one has ever given me flowers before. (Bree eats a little more.) So, what do you want to do today?

Daniel: I have no idea. Eat up.

Notes

How did you miss him, Daniel?
