Question about subcategories

If a character is listed in a subcategory (i.e. Seen characters), should they also be listed in this category? It seems to me they should be listed only in the most specific category of a hierarchy.--Jonpro 21:52, 16 February 2007 (CST)

Roger that. Seen characters are understood to be characters, so no need to mention both. However, the category "Seen Characters" should be categorized with "Category:Characters". This seems to happen with articles as well as with images. Let me know as you find more instances of this and I'll pitch in to set it straight. OwenIsCool 15:51, 17 February 2007 (CST)
