Daniel’s Missing! is the one-hundred twenty-third video in the lonelygirl15 video series. Daniel’s Missing! is the one-hundred twenty-third video in the lonelygirl15 video series. This video is correctly called "Daniel’s Missing!", with a punctuation apostrophe (right single quotation mark) instead of a typewriter apostrophe - it resides here for easier accessibility. Bree asks Daniel -- who has not come home since his "big night" -- to let them know he's alright. She also finally apologizes to him.

Transcript

Bree: So, Daniel hasn't come home yet. I guess somebody fell for his stupid pickup lines. For the record, Daniel, I would have gone for the shirt and tie, because some girls notice when a guy puts in a little extra effort. Then again, I guess it depends on what kind of girl you're trying to attract. Look, I know things haven't been great over the past couple of weeks, but I still think that it's pretty insensitive of you not to even call in and check and let us know that you're okay. Jonas was up really late, and, this morning, you still weren't here, so... neither one of us know what to think. Jonas has been trying to call Daniel's cell phone, but, the coverage around here is pretty bad. He called Highway Patrol, and Daniel's name didn't come up under any accidents so... Daniel, if-- if you decided to go home, or, if you're with some girl, then, you know, whatever, but just call us and let us know that you're okay. I'm sorry for how I've been dealing with things lately. I've been through hell, and... you've helped me through it the whole way. This (sighs) might seem a little selfish on my part, but I don't think that I can deal with you not being a part of my life right now. Anyway, Jonas said that right after I post this you're gonna call, and I'll feel really stupid for overreacting. We'll keep you posted. Bye. (waves)

Notes

  • Bree filmed this video in the same room that Truth Or Dare took place in, which many assume to be Daniel's.
  • Since the beginning of their troubles, Bree has refused to let Daniel contact the authorities about her parents' disappearance because she fears the Order has infiltrated law enforcement. When Bree's dad got shot, it seems no one alerted the police either, probably still for the fear that the police was corrupted by the Order. However, when Jonas contacts the Highway Patrol about Daniel, Bree seems completely unconcerned. Perhaps she feels okay dealing with the authorities as long as its not about anything directly related to the Order.
  • Bree's message in this video seems to indicate that she has not considered that Daniel could have been kidnapped by the Order's OpAphid.
