Darren Boling previously worked as the music supervisor for lonelygirl15. He wrote a number of original songs for the show, including "La Rezisto," "Way of the Gundagai," "Pris," "The Messenger," and "The Resistance Theme," all of which have been featured in various lonelygirl15 vidoes.
Additionally, Darren runs a small music studio, called BBR Studios, which records bands and composes soundtracks for films, such as 2006's Imaginary Friend and 2007's Men Don't Lie. He also sings and plays guitar for his band, The Spaghetti Yetis.
In early 2008, Darren composed for and co-produced Marcello Daciano's short film, Laura. The film screened for the first time on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 and has been submitted to the Cannes Film Festival.
