Transcript

(Gavin is packing his clothes into Charlie's bag.)

Gavin: Right. So I've been thinking long and hard, and I've decided... I'm going to go to Australia. You know the place: roos, joeys, Wentworth prison, castle named Fort Rex... And most importantly: the woman I love.

(Gavin packs more clothes into the bag and takes it off of the bed. Cut to Gavin searching for "budget australian ticket".)

Gavin: Yeah. I mean, I know she's mad at me, and I know I acted like a pillock... again. But I can't let her go without a fight. Especially not now I know about Kim. I mean, I good with kids! I-I'm sort of on their level. I-If you know what I mean.

(Gavin closes the laptop and unplugs it. Cut to him walking to the front door, which he begins to unlock.)

Gavin: And most importantly, I'll be umpteen-thousand miles away from this place. East London. (Opens the door.) I can't wait to say goodbye to this shithole.

(Gavin walks through the door, only to run into Terrence and Tariq in the hallway.)

Terrence: Your phone's been off all night. Well, where are you going?

Gavin: Um... A New Year's Eve, uh, fancy dress party. I'm going as a... baggage handler.

Terrence: Good. (Grabs Gavin's bag.) We're going, too. We'll give you a lift. (Gives Gavin's bag to Tariq.)

Gavin: No, mate, it's alright. I-

Terrence: No! We insist. Won't be the same without you. Come on, let's go. (Pushes Gavin down the hall in front of him.)
