Glenn Rubenstein has written and directed many videos in the lonelygirl15 video series. His full list of credits for the show include: executive producer, executive story editor, writer, director, editor, and camera operator.

Prior to his involvement in Lonelygirl15, he had worked as a columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, Sports Illustrated for Kids, CNET's GameCenter, Wizard Magazine, and many other national publications. He was one of the original contributing editors for Wired Magazine, and one of the founding editors at the console section of GameSpot. He has also contributed dozens of reviews and previews to the TechTV/G4 television show X-Play.

In early 2007, He was revealed as the creator of the OpAphid ARG, for which he created the characters OpAphid, Tachyon, and Brother - the latter for whom he also provides the voice. He has also written, directed, and edited every OpAphid, Tachyon, and Brother/10033 video. Before the integration of the OpAphid videos into the lonelygirl15 storyline, he began work on an OpAphid offshoot tentatively titled "The Hamster Project" with Jenni Powell, though the project was scrapped due to commitments with lonelygirl15.

After his departure from Lonelygirl15 in Mid-March, he began development on a new webseries "Redearth88", which imported characters from OpAphid. Both OpAphid and Redearth88 live in a "shared universe" with Jeromy Barber's Maddison Atkins series, and there are occasional crossovers and collaboration between the two.

In addition, he wrote/recorded the song "What Time Is It?" and remixed it for use as the Tachyon theme song. Glenn also composed and produced the opening theme music for Yousef Abu-Taleb's radio show F.O.B. Life, which features Mari Devincenzi (the voice of OpAphid) on the show's introduction.

Glenn Rubenstein used to DJ on BreeFM every Wednesday night at 8pm PST.
