(In Jonas' house, Daniel and Jonas rummage through the room.)

Jonas: There's a book missing right here. There's a book--Look at these encyclopedias, man! This drawer's open! Someone was here.

Daniel: All right, so we just got to Jonas' house and...well, he thinks someone's been here. Because there's different things that are out of place. I dunno, man! Uh, who could it be?

Jonas: I have no idea. I have no ide--okay, who knows more than we do?

Daniel: Well, the Watcher, right? You think it was him? It could have been him.

Jonas: Possibly. But, why wouldn't he just told me? Why wouldn't he metion he wanted something from here? I could have just given it to him.

Daniel: I dunno.

Jonas: Instead of going through all my stuff.

Daniel: What would it--

Jonas: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

Daniel: What?

Jonas: What about the box, from the cabin? You know, my parent's box? The resistance stuff? You think that's what they were looking for?

Daniel: I dunno. Where is it?

Jonas: It's in the attic. Let's go.

(Scene cuts to Jonas and Daniel about to enter the attic.)

Jonas: Dude, the door's open and the light is on.

Daniel: Be careful, man! Someone might be in there.

(Jonas opens the door cautiously.)

Daniel: I'll look around. (Jonas rummages through a box.) Is that it?

Jonas: This is it, but there's stuff missing.

Daniel: I don't think anybody's in here.

Jonas: There's-there's stuff missing in here! (Jonas's cellphone rings.) Oh! Someone's calling me. Emma! Hello! Emma! I'm putting you on speaker. Emma! Hello?

Emma: Jonas! Jonas, can you hear me?

Jonas: Yeah, I can hear you. Where are you?

Emma: Jonas, it's me. I'm-can you--.

Jonas: Emma! We didn't--

Jonas: I'm in Los--

Emma: You're where?

Emma: I'm in Los-I'm in Los-Angeles.

Jonas: Where are you in Los Angeles?

Emma: I'm--.

Daniel: Emma!

Jonas: Are you okay? Emma, where are you?

Daniel: Dude-- (the sound of an engine turning over is heard) What was that?

Jonas: I dunno.

(They leave the attic running. They open the door that leads to the front yard. A silver car is speeding away.)

Daniel: Who is that? Jonas! Do you know who it was?
