Description I'm on the road, criss-crossing the country following leads on B, D, and J. They didn't post any videos for over a week and now they don't remember anything. Since I didn't have anything to investigate, I shot a pilot for the food network. What do you think?

Transcript

(Nikki is chopping some tomatoes in a kitchen. The camera pans from her hands to her face.)

Nikki: (Stops chopping and looks at camera.) Hello... and welcome to "Cooking With Class." I'm your host, Nikki Bower. So many of you know me from my detective work. But when I am not sleuthing, you will find me in the kitchen. Let me show you what we are cooking up today. We have something from our four basic food groups. (Camera pans down to Nikki's hand pointing at each food example laid out on a chopping board.) First of all, we have a tomato from our vegetable group. Some very fine-tasting crackers in our carbohydrate group. (Camera moves back to Nikki's face.) Some cheese, from our dairy group. And we cannot forget the most important food group of all: the beverage group. (Nikki grabs a wine bottle.) Right here. The beverage group. That's a meal. That's cooking with class.

On today's show, we'll be learning how to prepare an elegant spread for that very special cocktail party you've been planning. Mine -- an Order soiree. So I've invited my great friends Lucy, Gemma, and Alex over so we can gossip about the current Watcher sightings. And of course, there's going to be a lovely array of underage men here. For us to flirt with. Grrrowl.

Nikki: So I am going to show you now the easiest way to spread cheese. (Camera pans down to Nikki's hands. She is holding a knife with cheese on it and spreads it on a cracker). It's verrrry simple. Put it on the cracker and you start to... (Nikki motions to her mouth, in which she has been chewing gum) I'm sorry, how rude of me. I'm just distracted by this burst of flavor that's coming through my mouth.

(Nikki holds up a package of Ice Breakers Sours Gum)

Nikki: Ice Breakers Sours Gum. Wow. Sour.

(Nikki is no longer holding the gum)

Nikki: On to the main course. We're going to be creating today a very special recipe for (freeze frame of Damien eating a chicken wing from Uncle Dan) chicken wings. And after that, I'll show you how to prepare the most crowd-pleasing croute. So as we wait for our chicken wings to marinate, let's relax for a little bit (Nikki takes off her apron). I'm gonna take this off here. Whoo. I'm feelin' relaxed already. I poured myself a glass of Pinot Grrrigio. (sniffs the wine) Mm, nothing finer. So come with me. Let's sit down and relax and recap the latest happenings of BDJ.

(Nikki is now sitting down with her glass of wine)

Nikki: Last week, Aunt Alex took Daniel and Jonas to a fashion industry party. Once again, there was a party and little Nikki B wasn't invited. Where's the love? Where's love people?

There was a menagerie of suspicious guests invited to this fashion industry party. We have since learned that Aunt Alex is in fact in the Order. (in cheesy game show host-esque voice) So... it's that time to play the game of... whooooo's in the Order this week. I'm also a game show host on the side. Heh. Toby. (freeze frame of Toby) Jonas's cousin who he hasn't seen since the funeral. Definitely in the Order. (puts up finger) Dink! Beth. (freeze frame of Beth) The reporter. Pfft... psst... pfft. Order. (puts up another finger) CLOUD-ia. CLOUD-ia. CLOUD-ia. She's neutral. CLOUD-ia. Finn, the musician. Eh, not in the Order. Will. Eh, pretty cute. (puts up another finger) Order. (looks at the three fingers she currently has up) Order. Sonia. Very suspicious hair. (mimes at area around her head then puts up another finger). Damian, David, Seth. Order (puts up another finger), Order (puts up another finger), Order (puts up another finger). Order!

As far as I can tell, there were no Watchers at this party. Not that I could see anyway. No creepy bald guys in suits. But there were a lot of mysterious people who seemed to be in the Order. How do I know this, you ask? I did some investigation! They don't call me "Investigative Nikki" for nuthin'. (sniffs the air) Do you guys smell that? OOH my wings!

(Cut to Nikki standing in front of and opening her oven)

Nikki: They burnt. Huh. Back to investigating!

(Back to Nikki in her chair)

Nikki: Now many of my investigative protegees have discovered a picture of Lucy at that very party with a brunette haired woman (still of photograph of Lucy and brunette woman). Now my sources have told me that that brunette woman -- not Aunt Alex. Definitely not (points to her own brown hair) Nikki B. So let's marinate on that for a while, shall we?

(Nikki is now standing)

Nikki: Now, to set the mood for your Owen Order soiree, you need a few simple things. Candles (camera pans to flowers on table), white flowers (camera pans to white flowers), and of course, lots and lots of white wine (Nikki picks up her bottle of wine). Not really to drink, but to throw in people's faces! And remember, when you're throwing your soiree, location is key! Remember to set your party in a dark place. And of course, only invite really mysterious people from your past. I have a few of those, let me tell you.

(Nikki starts setting out blue paper plates)

Nikki: You'll also want to be putting out your finest china for your party. Something that screams, "I have class," and has easy cleanup. And of course, you'll always want to have some rope standing by, because you never know when you're gonna need to interrogate.

(Cut to Nikki standing in front of a window)

Nikki: Also, for your party, you're always gonna want to pick a theme. This makes your guests feel more comfortable and relaxed and they can really let loose and have a good time. For my Order soiree, I've chosen the ever popular theme of (points to paper tikki mask pasted to her window) tikki! Huh? (looks at the mask) What you lookin' at dude? It's kind of scary. (makes a face like the mask then puts a hand over the face to cover it up)

(Nikki is sitting back down again)

Nikki: And of course, you need some party favors to say, "thank you for coming to my party." And what better way to say adieu and goodbye to your friends than with (picks up box of gum) Ice Breakers Sours Gum. Wow. That was sour.

(Nikki is holding her glass of wine again)

Nikki: Thank you so much for joining us today. Next time on "Cooking With Class," viewer ApotheosisAZ gives us his best squirrel recipes. Mmm. (picks up a cheese cracker) Until next time, this is Nikki Bower, signing off. (eats the cracker) This is actually quite delicious. I'm a very good cook. Very good. (Nikki picks up her glass of wine and cheers. She then takes a sip) I'll cheers to that.

Notes

  • Many fans on YouTube commented that Nikki mistakenly identifies a tomato as a vegetable in the video, when it is actually a fruit. However, this was a deliberate joke. Nikki Bower herself replied as followed: "lol that's part of the joke silly."
  • In Dude Back Off, Sarah wears an apron identical to the one seen on Nikki in this video.
  • When Nikki shows the IceBreakers Sour Gum, she is making a reference to the product placement in Truckstop Reunion.
