Transcript

(Sarah and Jonas are walking across a street. Sarah is carrying the camera, and we see Jonas's back as she talks.)

Sarah: This is ridiculous, I don't even understand why were here.

Jonas:(Turning slightly to face camera) Were here because we owe it to her.

Sarah: We don't owe her anything.

Jonas: Were the ones that messed up. And if this makes it up to her, than this is what were going to do.

Sarah: Fine. But if I die, its your fault.

Jonas: (incoherent babbling)

Sarah: Always have to have the last word, don't you.

(Cut to dead end road with abandoned building at the end. Camera zooms in on doorway, with Maggie standing in front, facing towards the opened doors. Camera zooms back out as Jonas speaks.)

Jonas: Shes here.

(Sarah and Jonas walk towards Maggie.)

Maggie: I didn't think you'd come.

Jonas: I didn't know you'd actually be here.

Maggie: Well I guess we were both wrong.

Sarah: You wanted us here-

Jonas: Sarah.

(Camera quickly turns from Maggie, who is still facing the doors, to Jonas's face.)

Sarah: What? I mean, since when did she get so "sensitive"? We were just trying to protect her last week, I mean you said so yourself, right?

Jonas: That's right, but we got bigger problems to deal with right now, okay?

(Camera goes back to a profile view of Maggie)

Maggie: Jonas is right. I think there's a chance that Reed might be in there.

Jonas: (Walking forward, past Maggie) Yeah, where are we...exactly? (Turns back to face Maggie) This is...- Listen, Maggie, I can go in there. I can go in there, you don't have to.

Maggie: I told you, I don't want to be protected. This is something I need to do.

(Maggie walks past Jonas, through the open doors, and starts down the main hallway. The camera pans over Jonas as he looks at Sarah, then follows Maggie through the doors. The scene cuts to Maggie walking down a dark hallway as Sarah and Jonas follow. Various empty rooms are seen. Cut to Maggie and Jonas walking ahead,silhouetted against the light. More rooms are seen. Cut to Maggie and Jonas again, going down a new hallway.)

Jonas: Look, look Maggie I just want you to know-

Maggie: Just save it.

Jonas: But can't you at least understand where I'm coming from?

Maggie: That's the point, okay? I thought you changed.

(Maggie walks away, as camera zooms on Jonas's face.)

Sarah: Well that went well.

Jonas: Shut up.

(Camera zooms in from Jonas's face, on to Maggie, who has stopped in front of a room, and back to Jonas.)

Sarah: She is going to freak out any minute...

(Camera zooms out to view the entire hallway)

Jonas: Shes not going to freak out. Shes fine, okay?

Sarah: She shouldn't be here. We definitely shouldn't be here, I mean, its obvious this place is empty.

(Camera slowly zooms in on Maggie)

Maggie: It was my decision, okay?

(Camera zooms out. Cut to Jonas walking towards Maggie. Both of them look into the room. This is the room Maggie was kept in before she escaped.)

Jonas: This isn't you anymore, Maggie.

Maggie: Then why, why am I so scared when I see this place? I need to know. (Maggie starts walking quickly down the hallway.)

(Cut to Maggie searching franticly through what appears to be desks and drawers)

Maggie: I'M FINE!

Jonas: STOP IT! Maggie, listen, its getting dark, and its getting late, and we need to get out of here. Okay?

(Shots of Maggie searching. She stops when she finds a box with a cord coming out the top)

Sarah: What is it?

Maggie: Its answers.

(Jonas, Maggie and Sarah start running out of the room.)
