Love on the 436 is the two-hundred eighty-eighth video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the thirty-second video of season two.

Transcript

(Toe, who is holding the camera, is walking behind Lee)

Lee: Why do you get to go anyway? She's not even your friend.

Toe: Oh what are you gonna do if anything kicks off? You're in no state to be scrapping are you?

Lee: I'll be all right!

Toe: Oh yeah, course you will soft lad! Tough shit I'm afraid though my kid, I'm going Paris; not you.

Lee: Yeah well actually Toe I don't think it's your decision. I mean you don't even really know the others. And I think they think you are a little bit weird!

Toe: What, they think I'm weird? Hey, that's a little bit rich init, coming from them freaks.

Lee: Why do you wanna go to France anyway?

Toe: Err, no reason. Just love the frogs don't I.

Lee: Is it because you fancy Lauren?

Toe: Oh get on no way son, had much better in my time.

Lee: Oh ay yeah.

Toe: I'm not discussing it kid! You're not going!

Charlie: Hey!

(Toe swings the camera back to reveal Charlie, Sophie, and Lauren walking together behind him)

Charlie: Who made you the boss, toad?

Toe: Ooh!

Charlie: No I'm being serious, it's my car.

Sophie: Well maybe he's right. Lee could do with a break.

Lee: Alright alright.

Sophie: And if Lee stays here then I can look after him.

Lauren: Oh please!

Lee: Oh yeah well may - maybe I could do with a bit of a rest, you know, before I go fighting evil again.

Charlie: Oh whatever.

Lee: Oh no, I just thought, you've had your passport taken off you haven't you?

Charlie: Oh, shame! That means you're gonna have to come instead!

Toe: Don't be daft. I'll just take his init! Same face, y'remember!

Lauren: Why are you so desperate to come anyway?

Toe: Jesus, you lot are suspicious aren't you! Just fancy a holiday, that's all. And if I can give a bit of a kicking to a scumbag, wife-beating bastard while I'm at it, then all the better.

(Toe puts his arm around Lauren)

Toe: And you need me to take care of you all, don't ya?

(Lauren throws Toe's arm off her shoulders)

Lauren: Get off me you tramp.

Charlie: God, okay. Right. Toe, you can come, it's fine. Right, but you, Lee, if you're gonna stay you have to promise me that you'll go back to Sophie's place, it's not safe for you to come back to the flat.

Lee: Yeah, well, yeah, if that's okay with Sophie!

Sophie: Yeah, course!

Charlie: Nice one.

(A bus, number 436, passes)

Sophie: Oh, that's our bus! C'mon!

Lee: Okay, bye!

Charlie: See you!

(Lee and Sophie run, hand in hand, to bus 436 as it arrives)

Charlie: Alright. Let's go.

(Cut to Charlie's car. Charlie is driving, with Toe in the seat next to her. Lauren is in the back.)

(Charlie pulls up outside Steve's flat. Steve is seen talking to a man.)

Lauren: Who's that Steve's talking to?

Charlie: I don't know. I can't see.

(The man take hold of Steve's wrist as he begins to walk towards the car, says something, and then walks away from the car. Steve stops for a moment, looks back at the man, and then gets into the seat next to Lauren.)

Charlie: Who was that guy you were talking to before?

Steve: What?

Charlie: That guy you were talking to before outside your house.

Steve: Oh, no-one, it was just a neighbour.

(Charlie begins to drive away. Steve smiles at the camera.)

Charlie: Is that car following us?

(Steve glances out the back of the car.)

Steve: I think you're being paranoid Charlie.

Charlie: No I think he's been tailing us for the last fifteen minutes.

Steve: Look, take the next left then.

Charlie: Yep.

(The other car turns the corner after them)

Steve: Aww, he's following us.

Charlie: Oh shit, is he?!

Steve: It's okay, stay calm.

Charlie: Ohh, I don't know what to do.

(There is the sound of tyres screeching)

Charlie: Shit.

(Terrence pulls his hands away from the bonnet of the car.)

Terrence: Watch what you're doing.

Charlie: Wha--

Steve: That's Terrence.

Charlie: Oh my God.

(Terrence's face lights up as he realizes who almost ran him over)

Charlie: Who...

(Michelle Clore's Shadow appears and punches Terrence.)

Steve: Shit.

(Terrence gets up with a bloody nose, only to be punched down to the ground by the Shadow again)

Steve: Go! Go!

Lauren: Go now!

Steve: Go!

• The title's use of the number 436 is in reference to the number of the bus that Lee and Sophie get on. The number is also a fan-created phenomenon, signifying something that does not exist.
